These are solid well-built speakers these puppies churns out the highlights in the Sony’s 360° audio and cause the chills during the Halloween movie marathon

When these were advertised at a discount price of $439 I decided to take a chance and pulled the trigger.I am not at all sorry that I did. These little fellows are surely the biggest overachievers I have seen in stand mount speakers. The bass response is surprising from only 5" woofers. The mid bass is tight and clearly defined. Granted, a sub is still needed for the low frequency response but in a smaller space this might not be necessary. The high end and midrange are very clear and precise. I broke them in for about 20 hours with a conventional wiring configuration and then switched to bi wire. The difference was surprising and this speaker (at least) appears to benefit from it. They also perform better without the covers but that is no surprise. They easily outperform the 24 year old Polk RT35i monitors that they are replacing; the increase in sound quality is amazing. The only negative is the relatively low efficiency but with a fairly muscular amp this is not really a problem; lower output amps may struggle. A real surprise and a first rate standmount speaker.

Pleasantly surprised with the sound of the speakers. We have Bower & Wilkins stand up speakers, thats why we choose these smaller ones for another room. Great price too! We are very happy so far, only had them for about a week

The sound of the speaker is not to my liking. Even though I'm using it in my bedroom, thus a small space, I'm just not satisfied with it. I find the sound thin and lacking authority.

This is a solid speaker from B&W. I have had it for a few months now and it really sounds great for genres of music and movies equally. This is paired to sony home theater receiver and in pure/ stereo mode it can really make your music come alive. Bass response is good even without subs. Music stage is very clear and all instruments and artists are distinctively placed.At almost half price it was a real deal, glad that I didn't miss it. There is some negative comments online on this speakers but honestly I didn't find anything to complain, it has exceeded expectations as B&W does.

Inexpensive, but expensive speakers

The clarity, sound field and musical spaciousness provided by these small speakers is astounding. The bass output from these speakers is outstanding! I am hearing lines and instruments I had not heard on other speakers. They are a pure joy. I've read reviews they are too bright and are fatiguing. I disagree 100%. I could listen to them all day. Streaming compressed music on-line sounds excellent. My office is 10x12 and these little speakers fill the space. They originally listed for $799 and I bought them for $439, a total STEAL!!!! Pick them up before they are gone.

The media could not be loaded. These are probably the best "bookshelf" speakers around for the money. I added a B&W sub and paired with a vintage Sansui 7070 for an entry-level audiophile experience.

Ho preso queste B&W 607 S2 Anniversary Edition per servire una camera di dim. 4x3, e dopo aver letto molte recensioni per diverse settimane. Ho avuto un unico dubbio: tra le B&W 606 e le 607. Un unico dubbio per il quale il venditore (MAVECOM HIFI di Assisi) si è reso subito disponibilissimo al cambio, ma poi ho desistito e sono rimasto con queste.Che dire, dopo il rodaggio il suono è diventato più avvolgente, un palcoscenico completo dove, malgrado le piccole dimensioni, non mancano i bassi.Collegate in bi-wiring and un ampli Onkyo suonano divinamente.Presto però verranno pilotate da un Cambridge Audio o Denon o similari.Continuerò a comprare B&W e prenderò un paio della serie Diamond 800 Nautilus per la sala non appena possibile.SUPER soddisfatto delle casse e del servizio di vendita ed assistenza post-vendita di MAVECOM HIFI.

Non le scopro certo io oggi, le B&W sono un riferimento da decenni, hanno un suono controllato e pieno ,le medio alte sono un piacere per le orecchie di chi ascolta i bassi ci sono per le dimensioni dei coni , ma necessitano di amplificatori un po muscolosi per rendere al massimo,distorsioni bassissime (inudibili)anche a forti volumi , consiglio di rodarle bene il tweeter migliora con le ore di ascolto sembra di ascoltare casse dal costo due volte superiore che altro dire consigliatissime
