Not a bad toy, and quite good value at the price (£40), but not a premium product by a long margin. More expensive stocking filler than significant present. Perhaps over-engineered with way more functions than are useful resulting in a complex remote control with 30 buttons. Buttons often don’t register/result in an action even when an adult is using it properly in close proximity with clear line of sight. My 5 year olds likes this, but the 5 random little known nursery rhymes (one of which is considered racist as a previous review states); 4 unheard of and rather dull stories; 4 bizarre tongue twisters; 3 unknown poems; 3 science facts including giving reasons why eating fried food is unhealthy (although well intentioned) and dance mode (it’s a dragon!) simply detract from the fun without adding any real educational offering or benefit. The fire and ice breathing functions are at best anti-climatic, with a faint whisp of fog emanating from the mouth. The directional control it severely restricted, with each single turn resulting in a 90degree or more turn, with no way of changing direction more subtly making controlling it quite tricky in confined spaces (eg indoors). Not an abject failure as a 5th birthday present but I wouldn’t by again nor recommend.

Seriously the best toy ever. I can't believe that this toys exists and that you can buy it for £35 on sale. When I was a kid this kind of toy would have cost like £500 if it even existed at all!I am a full grown adult and can't stop playing with it. It breathes fire, it attacks with darts, IT READS POETRY, and it tells you scientific facts about fried food. I'm not sure why the latter but I love it. I haven't had so much fun in years. Highly recommend, my new best friend <3

I brought this as a gift for my four year old grandson. He loves it . He got the hang of the controls very quickly. He has played with it so much it has to be recharged every day. This is not an issue as it comes with two sets of batteries . Highly recommended for any child hours of fun.

We bought for our 4yo for Christmas. He loves it. He plays with his brother who’s 6yo.It has lots of actions and some songs and stories. The songs are a bit irrelevant for the look of the toy but the boys have a laugh.The nice surprise is the mist.Very good quality. It has two batteries which you can recharge.I’m happy with our purchase

The media could not be loaded.  What an amazing toy, it was huge which my boy liked. The parts fitted together easily and it looked very well made. It also came with 2 rechargeable batteries which was very nice. The remote has so many controls we couldn't believe it. It can move, dance, sing, program, breath fire & ice from water vapour and fire rockets. My sone just loved this aged 4 3/4. You need 2 x AA batteries for the controller but everything else is supplied and both the dino and controller have off switches which is great. The parts like the wings and tail also come off easily for storage.
