It's a very good and versatile universal Power Supply, just beware the crossover cable
It's an excellent PSU that will save the day whenever you loose the PSU for this or that laptop, router, or this or that rechargeable gadget (eg handheld vacuum cleaner). My only suggestion would be that the crossover cable should be labeled with a little caution sticker. In my case, I failed to read the product description that hinted of this little cable (Package included 1x 72W Universal Power Supply Adapter; 14x DC Tips; 1x ===>> Reverse Polarity Converter Cable <<=== ) . This cable would be used if you ever wanted to generate negative voltages (-24v through -3V )and 99.9% of people out there will never have any need for this.In my case (silly me) I thought it was a convenient small extension cable for marking a preferred plug to have handy, and soon I made some sparks fly on my Lenovo. A little warning label, "caution, use only if you know what you're doing" on the polarity inverter would have been nice.

Perfect
Works great as a DC power source. The dial can be a little tricky, since it is a potentiometer, and doesn't have a fixed voltage selector. In other words, the dial turns freely, and doesn't 'click' at pre-specified voltage selections. And use a voltage meter to test the voltage prior to using it if for microelectronics. It is off by a tenth of a volt.

You get what you pay for but worth it for small DIY projects
Good little AC/DC adapter works as a power source. Only 2 problems but nothing deal breaking. First off the voltage is off by 2/10th a volt so I am trying to charge a 19.5 volt batt but when set to that it is 19.3 volts on Multimeter, and when plugged into any battery the adapters voltage fluctuates .2-.5 volts not the best, but if you want a better more accurate adapter get a bench power supply around double the price. The 2nd problem is the loose barrel connections just had to stick a needle and wedge the inside pins together a bit so it was a more firm fit.

Amazingly useful little power supply
This is a great little power supply for providing various voltages to random devices you lost the charger to. I found a used camcorder at Goodwill for $5 that didn't have a power supply. I only needed it for a few weeks while I converted old family videos from High8 to digital. This had the right size barrel connector to swap into it and I dialed in the correct voltage for the camcorder. No muss. No fuss. Completed my project and now I can donate the camera back to Goodwill for someone else to use (but keep this little beauty around). One thing of note that I wish they'd improve, however: The dial is SUPER touchy. I'm talking "breath on it and it'll jump by .1V" kind of touchy. I highly recommend dialing in the voltage BEFORE you attach it to anything, as the sweep is very fast and very twitchy until you dial it in.

Versatile
If you've ever misplaced a power supply, you know that the replacement can be pricey. Even with a generic, it seems a shame to replace something that may only be temporarily misplaced. This solves that problem. A one stop shop for all your backup power supply needs.Tip: Research what input voltage is needed for your device before using. Many time it says right where the plug would be. If you send too much juice, you're going to ruin the board on your appliance/item.

works well
A bit touchy dialing in the voltage you want but it works well, I made sure to watch it while I was charging my lithium power tank for my telescope, the voltage would fluctuate slightly durring the process however, it was not much. I'm happy with it.

No instructions included.
Thought power converter for a Christmas decoration had quit working, so ordered this one. Very hard to adjust power output, got it close. Apparently decoration has died as it still won't work. About done with you people. Out of the last 6 orders only 1 was as expected, the others were the wrong size, defective, or had no instructions included. The only thing that has worked as expected was the JVC vcr remote control. At least the basic functions work on this, which is better than not at all, which at least makes it useable. I have only ordered from you the last few orders due to where I live, in the middle of nowhere. Used to be convenient, no longer now when the received items are useless. This seems pointless to continue as this is not even close to convenient, and the items were relatively inexpensive making returning them not really worthwhile. The so called fitted spark plug wires I ordered for my 350 Chevrolet engine work as far as making the vehicle run, but now there are spark plug wires strung all over the engine compartment as most of them were way too long. Way too much not as described or no instructions. If you notice future orders are much fewer of not any at least you know why.

Works as advertised, very sensitive adjustment
This thing should be in very household. If you have many electronic devices like I do, occasionally one stops working or charging. Having a versatile and adjustable power supply is a must for troubleshooting and getting a device going while you order a replacement power supply. It has many connects sizes that should fit almost every need.I will give you one WARNING. The device comes with a six-inch extension output cord that seems to have no use and does not state what it is for. Well, what it does is reverses polarity, so you should never use this unless you are sure your device has the positive power on the outside of the connector, which is very rare. Reversing polarity may fry your device! It's nice they included it, but there should be a big red label affixed to it that states what it does.I dinged it a star because the voltage potentiometer (adjustment knob), is way to sensitive and its hard to set the voltage exactly, There are no detents or click in spots for the voltages so you have to fiddle with it and hope the knob doesn't get bumped to a different voltage during regular use.Other than that, it's a keeper.
