This product does do exactly what I needed it too. The only drawback or issue I ran into that I was not able to overcome was pairing.I tried pairing the headphones to my other phone to see if it would work. It never recognized this device.Thankfully my headphones were already paired to my actual phone, and now this is its new charger.So be aware you may not be able to pair, but this does charge my AirPods without issue.

Product is up to spec. Function, fit, finish, and feel of the product is just right. Works well with my 3rd generation AirPods. The only issue is, I accidentally dropped it from my desk (roughly 4 feet) and now, there’s something rattling inside every time I shake it. However, it has had no effect on its functionality. Still works as advertised. I mention this, because I have accidentally dropped my original Apple case from my desk a few times before, and I never had anything rattle loose.
