Works well for its intended purpose. After 6-7 holes the beverages are beginning to warm with the stock ice pack. I suspect a better brand of ice pack would extend that timeline, perhaps dramatically.

I'm not a golfer but I know a lot of them. Each time I've gifted this to one of my golfing people it's gone over very well. My husband says his does a good job at keeping his 6 pack cold for a round even though I think the ice pack is pretty small and flimsy looking. Obviously you want to freeze the cold pack and pack the cooler with COLD beers; it will not cool warm beers. Good gift and good value, I think.

I'm shocked that this currently has a 4.5 star rating. Read the top 10 critical reviews...they are all spot on.I really wanted to like this cooler but was very disappointed with it and ended up sending it back. Quality is okay, but it does feel on the cheaper side and is definitely overpriced. Their Shark Tank video shows that they make these at a cost of $3 a piece to give you an idea of the quality and markup. The listing also advertises a "new 2020 version", but I received the older model (ordered in September 2020) as it clearly did not have the updated zipper.The 2 major flaws are the cheap ice pack and the small size/tight fit. I honestly couldn't adequately test the effectiveness of the insulation properties.The ice pack is a complete joke. I tested at room temperature (75 degrees) in my house with 6 refrigerator cold cans (38 degrees), the included ice pack and cooler zipped shut...the ice pack was completely melted within 2 hours (probably less time, but I didn't check earlier than that). I can't say that I'm surprised give then fact they are literally the size of a ketchup packet (see pic). Although the ice pack was melted, the beers were still reasonably cold at 2 hours. I checked again after about 4 hours and the beer was much warmer with beer temp measuring at 58 degrees. A 20 degree increase in 4 hours, tested at room temperature...there is no way this would keep beer cold for a full round in hot summer weather.For size, I understand the value behind keeping it slim, but 6 cans fit so snug with no ice pack that you can barely zip it closed. There is absolutely no room for ice or higher quality ice packs unless you start to remove beer, but that kind of defeats the purpose. The design itself is probably flawed with it being shaped like an envelope/pouch with just a single top and bottom seam. It would probably be better with some actual depth/sides or at least a gusset that allow it to expand more.This could be a 4 or 5 star product if it was slightly bigger and came with quality ice packs OR was bigger and priced about $10 cheaper to allow consumer to use their own higher quality ice packs.I also tried Zee Cooler (solid 4 stars) which was much nicer quality and better quality ice pack. Main issue with that one was it only fit 5 beers (advertised as 6) and was almost double the price (although justified by the quality).I also tried the Frostbox (also 4 stars) which is probably the winner of the three that I'm going to keep. I wouldn't say it's perfect or is the highest quality, but it is good quality, reasonably priced, and does exactly what they advertise it to do...keep 6 beers ice cold for 4-6 hours (it actually has room for extra ice wall packs which are needed and were used in my testing). After 5 hours, beer was still at 42 degrees!

Does it have cool factor? Yes!Is it easy to hide? Yes!Does it keep your beverages cold? SomewhatLoading up 6 cans into the pocket of my golf bag is really great. Bottles, not so much. I think you can fit 4 and it's awkward.In any event, even freezing the bag itself does not really help. You can get through about 8 holes before you'll notice that the beverages are not really cold any longer. This product would have been an EASY 5 stars if the inner lining of the bag were made of frozen gel material. Instead you get a small frozen gel pack to lay over the bevs. If you think you'll just add your own, you really can't. Even my smallest lunch freezer block would not allow the zipper to close (with full 6 cans). Forget about adding ice. It's not really waterproof in that way.In the end, I'll continue to use it. But if I had to do it again, I'd look elsewhere.

I read all the reviews before I made the purchase, I’m confident that it’s a great product. However, it arrived looking very used, much to my disappointment. The bag looked dirty and when I opened it the small ice pack that comes with it had popped and leaked all over the bag, causing it to mold. It was a Father’s Day gift for my husband and he needed it that day for a golf outing so I cleaned it and it works fine. As I mentioned before, the product is great though, does exactly what it says it does. I ordered the Rubbermaid ice blanket like another review had mentioned, best idea ever.

Pretty disappointed zipper came off and now unusable, only used it about 15 times, love love love the product and what it does, but poor zip quality and I don’t know how to get in touch with vendor for replacement.Follow up- connected with vendor, excellent response, sent out a replacement immediately, it’s a great product by a great company

Doesn’t keep the beer cold past the 9th hole. The little freezer pack that comes with it is useless. I use it plus extra freezer pack and beer still doesn’t stay cold. I would give it 2 1/2 max if I could. Not constructed the best. Pretty cheaply made to be honest. Pretty disappointed.

Cooler is great and the only issue I have is the crappy ice pack sent.

I followed another reviewer lead and ordered a slim ice pack for this cooler bag. Together the setup works very nice!
