RF Shielding Fabric, RFID Radiation Shielding Fabric, RF Signal Blocking Material for Smart Meters

Perfect for my cork wallets

I purchased 2 colors: Black and Gold. Although, the gold is more like a peachy color which I don't mind. My main reason for this purchase was to use it for blocking RFID signal on my car key fob. When I received the fabrics, I tested out by wrapping the car key fob with the fabric before cutting to size. Both fabrics really did block the RF signal.I do have a car RFID signal blocking key fob protector but at times, it doesn't seem to work. I think that there's not enough of the signal blocking fabric at the flap that closes the pouch. When I don't close the pouch tightly enough, it doesn't block the signal. So, I applied 1 more layer of this fabric inside the pouch and cut it a bit longer at the closure flap. That seemed to take care of the problem. I intend to use these fabrics for other products as well: wallet, purses, passport holder, etc. So many usages for this fabric. I do recommend them.

I’m so glad I found this fabric. This one pice is enough to line an entire purse or tot bag. It’s light weight so will not add much weight to the finished bag.

Glad to find this product, it's easy to work with & sew in. I am sewing handbags where it's easy to add with the interfacing. Thank you for having this available.

Used to line wallets I make. Only problem is it sounds crinkly when opening and closing it.

This fabric was easy to work with, I could iron it, easy to cut and was perfect for the credit card holders I was making.

I upcycle bike tubes into wallets and bags. Now I can use this RFID fabric for the credit card slots which makes a great selling point for my wallets. I also like that it’s thin and not prone to fraying so it is very thin for folding into a card slot assembly.

**Edit: if you use at least 3 layers it will probably work long term. Maybe. Find a better brand somewhere not on Amazon.** I made a small baggie to contain my key fob for my car so when I'm out my key fob can't be cloned. Sewed the baggie, tested it numerous times, it worked fine. On a whim I tested it now, (ordered in Jan, tested in Apr) and it no longer blocks the signal. Wrapping the fob up in some of the original fabric works, but another pouch I sewed today does not work. I had to iron the new pouch I made. I can only surmise that the heat of the iron and maybe the heat of my purse degrades the fabric? Past my return window now, it might work in addition to Insul Brite for other insulating properties. Don't buy this brand if you want rfid protection.

Covered my phone with this, completely sealed. Manages to block out RF waves completely! Easy to stitch along with fabrics and other soft materials. Worth the buy!
