NOT Aquarium safe - Great 100% Silicone Caulk in nicer type caulk tube -faster setup curing time –
NOT Aquarium safe - Great 100% Silicone Caulk in nicer type caulk tube -faster setup curing time –I used to do a lot of kitchen and bathroom remodeling. I have used hundreds of tubes of silicone caulk. This is great 100% silicone caulk but it IS NOT Aquarium safe. The website falsely claims that this caulk can be used in Aquariums. However, I would NOT use this caulk for an Aquarium because the label states that this caulk is mold resistant. Therefore this caulk has added mold killing fungicides like those added to kitchen and bathroom silicone caulk. I took of one star rating point because of the false claim. The caulk tube itself is much nicer than most standard caulk tubes. This caulk tube has the capped screw on spout. If you don’t use up all the silicone caulk in one application, you simply cap the spout. You let the silicone caulk in the spout cure and seal up the rest of the silicone caulk tube. Then you unscrew the spout, push the cured plug out backwards and start using up the rest of the saved silicone caulk.Apparently this Silicone Caulk has a faster setup time which is nice. I learned a long time ago to move pretty fast applying Silicone Caulk to catch it before it skinned to be able to tool it to a nice water tight shape. I used to use my finger to shape the caulk profile. Now I use kitchen tool silicone spatula bowl scrapers to shape the caulk profile. The slower curing silicone caulks have stinky acetic acid, or vinegar, as part of the curing process. This faster curing silicone caulk is NOT stinky so it uses the moisture in the air to activate the catalyst that polymerizes the semi-soft gel into a semi-solid squashy paste.

Cap does not seal, but caulking material is great.
The caulking material is good. It works well and the elasticity is very great. It was a nice feature to provide a screw on cap to use when you save the caulk, but i found that the caulk still hardens despite the screw on tip.

Not truly white, but works
I would say that this is more of an off white. Has a gray-ish tone to it. I compared it to my other white silicone caulk I bought at my local chain hardware store and the difference is noticeable. I used it in my bathroom around some white tile. It definitely catches the eye. It does do a decent job at being applied, just not truly the color I was looking for.

Minimal smell, works great for touch ups or new Contruction.
Used this to do a temporary fix on my tiled bathtub as the grout is cracking and missing until I can get it replaced next year. The caulk came out of the tube easy and smooth, there was very low smell to the caulk and it went into the grooves between the tiles nicely. After I caulked where the grout was missing and used the shower I went downstairs and checked for water leaking down and didn't have any which was great. This caulk took care of the leaking for me for now until I can get the bathtub and bath surround replaced.

XFasten White Silicone Caulk: Works As Expected
I used XFasten White Silicone Caulk to seal my kitchen sink, and it performed as expected. It's flexible and has a fast curing time. The only minor drawback is that the cap doesn't seal well. Overall, it's a reliable caulk for various sealing projects.

Seals well and easy to apply with caulking gun, easy to shape and fill unwanted cracks.
I have a covered back porch that although it has a ceiling fan and a powerful vent fan, it get very hot. It also gets cold. The finish for the wall and doors is mostly glass, not insulated or even given attention to a proper air seal. I recently connected up a combo AC and heating system. but if let it run long it can be expensive. There are places where the food fits to the main house, gaps in the sliding doors, and cracked and missing grout that holds the glass in place. Additionally, a few panes are chipped and have small gaps in the wall.I used this to seal as many of those smaller gaps as possible and close the gap between the side walls and the main house that had a near 1/4-inch gap. The place where I installed the vent hose for my AC unit is screwed on piece of plywood that patches what must have been and small window unit from the previous owner. I have a heat gun and with the AC running I could see the heat seeping in through the outside of the plywood patch. I went outside and used this to lay down a bead all around the patch. Then repeated the heat gun test, and despite a few small air gaps which I corrected it sealed up well. This sealant worked pretty well. The only thing inexpensive I can do to improve on this is apply some mirror tinted film to the windows to reflect the sun, but that's for the future. Recommended.
