So far so good!
I bought this to replace the TCCM in my 2017 Jeep Grand Cherokee 3.6L V6. I had gotten the "Service 4WD System" light & "Traction Control" light accompanied by problems with gear engagement/jerking into gear/loud noises in the drive train when making sharp turns. I first took the car in for diagnosis/service at my local mechanic. The code came back as a faulty Transfer Case Position Sensor and I had him replace that. Everything seemed fine for a day and a half after that when I started experiencing the same problems/error lights as before. Doing research, the TCCM seemed to be the next viable thing to try replacing. It takes less than 10 minutes with minimal tools (see videos online for guidance). This replacement seemed to be an exact replacement with zero fitment issues and most importantly it has solved the problems I was having! Check the videos online, verify your part number and buy with confidence - save yourself some time and money!

Corrected all the symptoms on my 2015 Dodge Durango R/T AWD
In the first quarter of a 1500 mile road trip, my 2015 Dodge Durango started showing a Service AWD error on the dashboard multiple times a day, and the traction control would disengage for a while. In addition, when starting from a stop, there was a very disconcerting “clunk” in the drive train as the vehicle neared the shift to second gear. I never got a check engine light, nor did the OBDII reader ever show a code. After doing some research, I discovered that this is a known issue that can happen with the AWD Dodge Durango, and that replacing the Transfer Case Control Module could fix these issues. I ordered this TCCM and replaced the old one in 15 minutes, and haven’t had any issues since then. In the 2015 Durango, the TCCM is under the floor panel that is under the front seat. Moved the seat all the way up and back, disconnected the battery (under the passenger seat) replaced the bad unit with this TCCM, and connected the battery again. Easy process and saved hundreds of dollars over the OEM TCCM…plus no dealer labor charges. Probably save close to $1K over taking it to the dealer.

It worked
All of a sudden one day, my 2018 grand Cherokee 3.6 had serv 4wd, traction control, fcw warning lights come on. I noticed when turning at low speeds, it felt like an old truck in 4WD, kind of grinding and lunging. Looked it up in the forums and there just wasn’t much. After a lot of digging online, I came to this module. Jeep wanted over twice as much for just the part. I had this installed myself in about 2 minutes. Located under the drivers seat under the plastic cover, unplugged the old, plugged in the new. Problem solved.

Easy installation!
I am an 83 year old geezer, with a 2017 Grand Cherokee, and not in a position to have a dealer fix my DTCM issue. After having viewed a number of installation videos on Google, I decided to try it myself. Piece of cake! Took me less than half an hour. Extremely relieved that it went so well.
