Works really well, the assortment of crimps fit my needs. I've been using it to make connectors on my 3d printers.

I generally try to avoid tools that are too cheap, but I saw these as the best value for the price from the other options, and I'm satisfied with what I got. The crimper itself is relatively well-built—It's not something that's gonna break after light usage. The crimper itself has some weight to it, and it doesn't feel cheap. Fits my hand well. Almost comparable to my Klein Tools RJ45 crimper - which is a solid tool.I got this to work well on some fan headers and to work on a power supply tap project that I'm doing with some cheap server equipment I found. Crimps are pretty strong and the connectors that come with are decent.The main thing I did not like about this product is the ratcheting. It isn't super fluid, but it's reliable. Using the release mechanism is difficult to do with my thumb, but you can push the release lever with something sturdy like pliers to manually release if needed.

I was able to choose the 2.5 mm JST, crimp it onto some AWG-22 and quickly use this on a pair of HP grabbers. Now I have quality grabbers that actually grab, instead of the crummy generic ones, usable with my DVM. I'll probably make another set just for checking capacitances and resistances.Included in the set is a nice set of wire cutters/strippers, and a nice clicky feeling crimper tool.The included sets of connectors should have me covered for general electronics usage for the forseeable.

Begrudgingly got myself this kit and as I feared, I’m adding the connectors and crimping every project like mad now. I mean, who am i trying to impress when this stuff Is just sitting in my workspace at home.Oh bother. Adding more and more connectors to every 3d enclosure I design. Added two to an accelerometer just this morning so i could slap them in my delta printer print heads to work with klipper. Someone send help, I’m addicted to producing the professional outcomes!!

The kit has the right sizes however there is one huge flaw all of the ends are lose. Thise causes them to mix up with other sections because of how tiny they are. Ideally they should leave the ends on a roll. Trying to chrimp such thiny ends is already a task but if they are off the roll its just terrible.The tools are decent.They company could make this a 5 star if they leave the ends on the rolls.
