Invisible Control 6 XTRA - Wired Infrared Extender IR Blaster

This really is a super bit of kit, I have my SkyHD box hidden in a built in cupboard under the TV, the receiver is just at the rear of my TV you can’t even see it, to be honest it’s so good I forget I even have it, very very easy to install top marks can’t recommend it highly enough, super pleased I purchased it. Cupboard doors stay neatly closed but remote works as normal.

I love this little bit of kit . The eye is very small and unobtrusive and I'm using it to control 4 pieces of kit in a cupboard, however there's no reason why it should be able to control an unlimited amount of kit. Perfect solution for me

There seems to be quite a few products in this market sector that are problematic, so I took a gamble on this product, not that it was cheap, far from it, but because I had used a product from this brand previously that had worked fine. Unfortunately I was wrong. I wanted it to control my Yamaha AV Receiver and a Panasonic BluRay Player, both models are about 2 years old. I had no luck with the Yamaha at all and 1 sucessful remote command (out of about 30-40 button pushes) with the Panasonic. I tried every position possible with the receiver and transmitters, but gave up in the end and requested a return. Surely re-transmitting an IR signal can't be that complicated can it?

I had problems with my Harmony programmable remote control old IR blaster following the "update" of my Virgin V6 to V360 box operating system which evolved a different IR code system being implemented.The V360 is now using IR codes as per a Ziggo mediabox, the codes are RCMM codes which my original blaster system is having difficulty dealing with, resulting in missed commands.This new system has resolved the issue, I have stuck the receiver to the lower edge of the TV to ensure maximum reception.

Product was delivered promptly unfortunately it was faulty and did not work !

Excellent piece of kit. So simple to install, up and running in no time and no gremlins. All media items now hidden away behind solid doors. Not cheap but well worth it..
