This was more work than anticipated. We thought we could finish the job in 3-4 hours and it took us an entire day and several trips to Home Depot. We needed 2 quarts of glue to finish the job. Our wall was about 10 feet by 8. We had to use extra glue at the top and the seam, then wipe/wash away glue after it had dried a bit. We found that a self leveling laser was very helpful. It’s a two person job. We also added trim at the sides and top to give it a clean look. We had to add the trim piece at the top because of our popcorn ceiling. We love the outcome! The wallpaper is a nice thick fabric material. We used a large sponge, a paint roller, and a box cutter the most, and a smaller paint brush to add extra glue to the top and seams.

This is not your typical wallpaper. As someone who wallpaper often in the 1980s and then removed a lot of wallpaper in the 1990s, it is important to note that this is slightly more difficult to work with than normal wallpaper.1) the paper it’s made out of feels more like photographic paper. Make sure that you have enough paste on the wall before attempting to put it on. I would highly suggest unrolling the wallpaper laying out flat with a couple of things on top of it so it doesn’t roll back up, and leave it that way for a couple of days so you’re not dealing with tightly, rolled wallpaper that has a very serious memory and wants to roll back up.2) make sure you get a very good wallpaper paste. I used what was recommended on the Amazon shopping page.3) measure the walls and make sure they’re plumb. Start on the left-hand side and put the first piece up.4) Make sure you have good tools - again, I purchased a tool kit right off Amazon very cheaply Brush on or roll on the wallpaper paste, make sure you match the pattern. Repeat. Make sure you match the pattern and get the pieces of wallpaper as close to each other as possible without overlapping. This is absolutely crucial. Once you have the wallpaper in position, make sure it sticks and then use your squeegee tools to get out any ear bubbles and integrate the paste very well with the paper.4) I always step back a little bit to make sure I have the wallpaper correctly placed nothing is overlapping and nothing is crooked, before I go to trimming. Once you trim, you can’t un trim. Use a very, very sharp, razor knife. Once you have trimmed, I squeegee again and I stepped back and I look and make sure there’s no air bubbles.Once you were done with all the pieces, wait a couple days and see if there’s any small areas usually on the very, very top or the very, very bottom that did not stick. Add some paste and stick them back down.All in all, for the price, it came out really really well. I’ve had guest day in that bedroom already and they said it was wonderful. It made the room feel less like a cave. I will be painting in a blue gray to complement the wallpaper.The picture that is shown is right as I finished it. I will take another once it’s all painted.

Very nice quality mural. Easy to work with. Just roll the glue on the wall and hang the wallpaper. No air bubbles at all. Looks great!

Sent back it was entirely too large for the wall I needed it for. Beautiful never the less.

Stunning! I love it! I hung the paper in a half-bath to ensure no humidity. The paper has a sheen (not flat). The price point is fantastic, and I should know I have shopped for months! You will not be disappointed. I used a professional to hang the paper. Go for it; be bold!
