First of all, thumbs down to the marketing folks for using photos that make this unit seem larger than it actually is. That was unnecessary. Other than that I have no complaints about this radio because I read the specs before I bought it. It is small, but it suits my purposes nicely. I was looking for a small stereo radio with great AM/FM reception and decent sound for my office. This fits the bill. It takes up very little space, and its throws more than enough volume for a small area without sounding too 'tinny'. If you're looking for a small 'old school style' radio this should work for you. I recently bought (and had to return) several other radios recently because nearly all of them were so bad that they couldn't pick up any stations. The signals come in clearly on this one. I like it enough that I'm going to buy another one.Notice I said old school 'style' because it is nothing like the radios from back in the day that were made with different technology and heftier parts, and had bass-ier sounds. This thing is feather light and you can lift it from the handle with your little finger, but its still good...even by today's standards.

This radio is easy to use, decent sound and has a feel of having a solid internal chassis. The station knob is a hard to read, with older eyes. A cool trick is a built in magnifying glass over the frequency dial. Otherwise I would buy again. I enjoy AM talk. Thanks guys!

This small stereo radio as a clear sound and reception. We used with two D batteries during the electric power outage with no problem. Highly recommend.

I really liked the size, shape, look, feel and interface of this radio, but I noticed something was off about the sound as soon as I turned it on. It sounded thin and frail, with no punch to it. Symphonic music lacked depth and voices sounded nasally. I don't think I expected too much for its size; I have several smaller radios that sounded better to me, and that was really the reason I bought this radio, to get a little bit better sound, and in stereo, in the kitchen where space is premium.So I hooked it up to an Audio Precision and measured the frequency response; the graph is attached. This unit is the red trace, which has some very wild peaks and valleys. That's how it sounds. The other two traces are other very small radios that I had on hand, both much smaller than this one, and though you can see that they are all weak in the bass, the other speakers are more consistent through the midrange. Speaker physics is such that there are always strange details in the frequency curves, but this radio just seems wrong.I hope they will take a look at this and maybe improve it in the future, because for its general design it impressed me in every way, I just couldn't enjoy the sound of it. With this size of case and speakers it really should sound a lot better.

good radio for a low price. I use it in my garage. The radio I had for around 8 years died.

It's small, cheap, with small and cheap sound, but one expects that for $26. Unfortunately tuning it is awful. This does not catch any FM stations well, regardless where and how the antenna is pointing. What a stereo receiver gets easily with a piece of wire for FM antenna, this gets just buzz and scratchy noise.It will be returned.
