The media could not be loaded.  I'm pretty pleased with this product. Bought it while it was on sale. There's so many different features you can run with the lights. I use it to light my room at night.There is a weight issue as the metal bars at the bottom dont exactly hold the tall one up straight as I tried to show in the video. But it comes with sticky pads that should help in holding it plus its supposed to lean against a wall anyway so not too muc of an issue.Fun light for a bedroom

So I was skeptical due to the price point and knowing what RGB components typically cost. I was absolutely pleasantly surprised. Opened the box and was able to lay out the pieces and figure out how it goes together without the instructions. Took me approx 7-8 mins with my two 7 and 8 year olds "helping". I haven't dealt with putting an LED strip onto anything and this was super simple. The controller is good and simple, yet only controls maybe 5% of the features. The app is very well done and very easy to understand, plus I was afraid I'd have an issue of it losing sync when I closed the app but it doesn't! Setting a schedule was very easy, yet I haven't actually used it so we'll see how that plays out. The music sync mode is a bit silly. It asks to have access to your Apple Music, but I don't use it, and it comes preloaded with about 15 songs all that are similar to early 2000 ringtones on your old slide out phone, and it doesn't really seem to sync to anything, just flashes like you're in an old disco bar, just add a fog machine. Other than that, seems very sturdy and is a great addition to my PC game room.

I hope you get to read this review before you assemble this lamp! The included instructions are abysmal. They give you a VERY general overview of what to do but don't give you any useful specific information. Which sucks because you have to glue the LED strip down to the light pole yourself and you need to feed the LED ribbon all the way up from a slot in the bottom of the pole so the wires come out in the right place. The instructions don't mention this. They just say stick the lights on the pole. So if you just start at the top and work your way down, you'll find the slot at the bottom but you can't fit the plug and controller on the end of the ribbon through it. You can either do surgery on the cable, pull up the tape strip and try to feed it, adhesive exposed, through the slot, or just let it dangle out there at the bottom. The instructions also don't tell you which screws to use where or how many you should have. I got six very tiny 1/4" long set screws in my box. There are only 4 holes that size anywhere on this whole lamp... You'll encounter other minor annoyances putting this together but the LED strip is the major issue to be aware of ahead of time.Assembly complaints aside, the lamp itself is not bad. The metal tubing is very smooth and cleanly shaped. The colors and the various color modes are fantastic -- the display can be quite beautiful. It puts out a decent amount of light and will definitely light up the walls in a corner well. Don't expect it to do much for a whole room though. This is kind of light a big night light or accent light. Good for ambience.It comes with a USB plug for power but does not include a wall adapter like so many products are doing these days. I'd recommend using a high power one. This lamp does not specify how many watts or amps it requires but I have a 12 watt LED desk lamp and it requires 2.4 amps on high. I had it on a 2.1 amp charger and the charger got very hot. I switched it to a 2.4 amp charger and the charger still gets quite hot for my taste but that's the biggest I have at the moment. Whatever adapter you wind up using with this lamp, check it after a few hours of use to see if it's getting hot or not.Note: I update my reviews if my experience with a product changes. The media could not be loaded.  This was suppose to be a gift, but…. I loved it so much I kept for myself. (Don’t judge me). You do have to assemble every single piece yourself but it was fairly simple with the instructions. It comes with a remote and an app for your phone (which is not required unless you lose the remote). I love how it has many different light designs to choose from. It also Bluetooth to any noise reaction in the home all the way down to quietest sigh. The kids are having so much fun with this. It is very bright and colorful. The best color combo the kids like looks like a fire truck light bar. Highly recommend for gifting (if you don’t keep for yourself like I did) #FoundItOnAmazon

Nice to look at but for the cost is it cheaply made.

This thing is just beyond cool. I'm super into RGB lighting and have a lot in my room and PC setup. So, when I saw this I knew it would look great with my setup. Man, was I right. It adds such a nice ambient glow in lots of different colors and patterns, including a few super cool audio response modes for music. The only issue I have with it is that it does require a lot of assembly upon delivery, and once assembled, it isn't the sturdiest skinny lamp ever, especially at the junctions. But, I am a pretty handy person, so assembly wasn't much of an issue for me and once you set the lamp up in a corner, it does stand up on it's own and casts super cool light. Recommended, but only if you are or know someone pretty handy with assembly.

I was expecting a light that would be more sturdy and illuminating. Be aware that this is just a sticker strip of "lights" that you can purchase a huge roll of for about ten dollars, inside some flimsy plastic and thin metal tubing. I would not pay more than 15 bucks for this. It is not sufficient to function as a lamp.
