Why did you pick this product vs others?:I'd been gifted a hydroponic unit last year I needed refills of nearly everything to grow this season's flowers and herbs. Everything in this supply kit works well with multiple brands of hydroponic units.

So far it seems to grow fine in these sponges, but they are less porous and less soft compared to the sample ones that came with my hydroponic system.Left pic = sample sponge from hydroponic systemRight = sponge from this brandI will have to update, but no problems so far.

These fit in all of my units including the Aerogarden. I used survival garden paint markers to write labels for the plants and had some of my gardening friends say how much they liked them. 😁

Works great for my leti pot and my aerogarden. Fits well in both without issues. They look a bit different but nothing worth paying more elsewhere.
