Q: can i purchase a lid for this fryer?

I could not find one for this unit. I purchased a commercial bake pan Which fits perfectly underneath the baskets when storing unit off and the baskets hanging on the hangers. You can also place it over top of the baskets when they are in the oil in between usages while cooking just to contain your heat and as a safety precaution. The heat from the unit will still vent from the rear vent. Be careful in handling the pan when using it as a cover when the unit is still hot. The pan will absorb the Heat. Also, clean that pan immediately after usage as a hot cover as to not get oil buildup on the pan.
