The most futuristic item I own
First impressions:The box came perfectly packaged and opening everything up was easy. The pill shaped case that glasses come in is nice, and the interior seems to really be fitted for them. It feels safe to carry them around inside it. The glasses weigh enough to feel sturdy, but not enough to feel too heavy on the bridge of your nose. What I like: The glasses are very low profile so you really wouldn’t know they were anything other than just some wayfarer-esque frames. The clarity is surprising good. Definitely an HD experience watching YouTube, iPhone mirrorcasting, and laptop auxiliary viewing.I like that you can still slightly be aware of what’s in front of your while wearing them, and that it doesn’t distract from the experience too much. The optional light blocking clip is also useful. The speakers are loud and work well enough, though I'm not sure I'd blast the volume in public. The projected screen size is good, and it does give you an immersive threatre effect anywhere. There is an undeniably cool element to it that, and the futuristic feel goes without saying.I wore it for about an hour before my nose started to feel the heft of the piece fight gravity. I may have to change the nose clip to a different size maybe, not sure. Ill try and update the review possibly.Overall I really just like that they do what they're supposed to do, and they do it at a level well enough to merit the price tag. The beam is also a cool addition if not a bit redundant for certain things. What I don't like: The usb-c connector that attaches to the beam is a bit finicky. A slight touch and it could disconnect. You can't adjust the screen size manually by touching something on the glasses themselves. The iPhone screencast from a device to the beam can be a bit tricky. Can disconnect occasionnally but rare if at all. What I wish it had: A Camera! This one thing would be a cherry on top of what's already a very impressive consumer product. Also, an earphone jack to plug wired earphones. If it could display 3D movies it would be next level.Maybe more apps also.Overall: Happy with the purchase and excited to see how it can be used to implement AR content creation which will be the next big gold rush sooner than later.

Very Impressive - Updated
I have to update my review of this item as the Customer Support team reached out to me and really went the extra mile to assist. It took me more than a month to get my prescription lenses for these glasses (which exceeded the 1 month return window) and once I had finally got my prescription installed - I noticed a defect in the left side upper region which was more than annoying. After leaving my review sharing my disappointment, Xreal reached out to me and having understood my situation, went ahead and sent me a replacement pair that I could not be more happy with. The fact that these glasses have more than enough in terms of brightness and resolution for enjoyment speaks volumes. Couple this with great customer service AND the fact that they are cross platform capable indicates that these are winners indeed (and this is the products first run which the updated version to be released in the U.S. at an unspecified future date - which can not arrive quickly enough)Yes, these do not reach the heights of the Apple Vision Pro in terms of functionality and resolution, however, I already have these in my possession without have a custom fitting, waiting for processing, and am free to use these with Apple devices, Android devices, MacOS, and Windows. Hands down a winner!Thank you for an excellent customer service experience as well as for a great product!

Surprisingly really good quality video display!
I REALLY liked the xreal air glasses and I have to admit, I was surprised at the quality of the video. I think the Beam is necessary so the video stays stationary. Unfortunately I had to return them as I couldn't get over the weight of the glasses on my nose. I tried the different nose pieces. I'm unsure if I just have a sensitive nose or if they weren't designed for the shape of my nose. I was actually sad to return them as they were pretty cool to use and were a great addition to gaming... but I could only wear them for about 15-20 minutes before my nose hurt too much.

Hollow, thin-walled, plastic on the warm arm(left) results in fail point
Very thin plastic with a huge cavity results in a weak, fail point of the warmer arm that houses the power element. You can see the plastic cleaves cleanly with no burs or stress of the plastic that is clearly very thin and not reinforced. It's almost like the hinge joint was more emphasized in their design but the integrity of the arms were merely an afterthought that don't have any struts and/ reinforcement (ie carbon fiber) so they create fail points and expected the crumbly, brittle, plastic they chose to use to handle the daily use.I'd recommend the manufacturer use better materials, thicker plastics, reinforce the design to not just focus on the hinges but the arms (especially the arm that gets hot; left arm) that houses the power element.

Not all bad
The glasses are great. They do exactly what they say. Large screen, great brightness, and the sound from the speakers are so much better than I thought they would be. Definitely great if you travel a lot. The Beam on the other hand... $120 brick. When starting the Beam it says apps coming soon. When searching when the apps are coming there's no info on it, just says coming soon everwhere. The didn't even load their own Nebula app to it. This tells me they released an unfinished product. We all hate when game developers pull this bull, no excuse for it. It does give you a wired and wireless option to use the Beam though. I tried using the wireless link with my phone while flying my drone. It connected just fine, the problem was the lag in video. It was about a 5sec lag time, not too bad but not safe either. If I were to watch a video with the same lag the voice wouldn't match up at all. I haven't tried the wired yet because, for game consoles, it requires I different cord that it doesn't come with and I just haven't found the time to go buy one. When or if the Beam does get apps I would recommend getting it. For now, the Xreal Air are the only thing worth it.
