A little noisy, but shuts off automatically. Bulb could be brighter. Planes are actually better than I expected. For the money it is an excellent thing with a scientific scent... Yet another small step to drive kids' curiosity in the right direction.

This thing is awesome! Such a fun way to show kids the solar system, and help them comprehend how the planets orbit the son. Very happy to have found this!

My son and daughter love to use the remote control to operate the solar system: once for light only, twice for light and planetary motion.* Scale: large enough for a kid room, all planets easy enough to identify from across the room. Of course, the planets, sun, and orbits are out of scale because it would be impossible to build the solar system to scale, haha.* Quality: Looks good on the ceiling* Motor noise: definitely audible, with an occasional screech, so old school. Kids didn't mind it too much. Motor is strong enough to spin planets, considering it operates with 3 AA batteries.* Mounting: easy. I mounted to the ceiling studs instead of the toggle bolts. Smaller screw holes, easy to patch later.* Overall: Would buy again. Good fun and useful teaching tool. My son kept asking which planet is which. But where is Pluto?!!!!

The little planets have plastic wrappings over them that’s very reminiscent of Easter egg wrappings. Saturns rings didn’t stay on properly so I had to tape them. Over all- okay? Kids seemed excited at first but it’s fairly noisy when it actually moves. So I probably wouldn’t get it again.

Super! Easy to assemble and my son loves it. Great tool for teaching him about the solar system. Also doubles as a great night light for him.

The media could not be loaded.  I was a little hesitant to purchase this because of the bad reviews. They must’ve fixed something because this works fine. All I really wanted was a cool nightlight so the fact that the spinning planet function works is a bonus. Also, it helps with our nighttime routine, so I highly recommend.

Pretty bad construction quality, some holes were missing and had to be drilled.It works, but it''s very loud when it moves, doesn't last long and is a far cry from an actual solar system model: this is more of a decoration than an educational aid.

The media could not be loaded.  I turned this light mobile into a cake topper for my granddaughter’s first birthday. Used the light cover as a mold for the other side of the sun & added yellow glitter & battery powered lights to the whole thing. After the party, they installed the light fixture in her room!

Carino... Anche se un pochino rumoroso... Ma fa capire benissimo il sistema solare al mio bimbo...

LO BUENO :Es bonita se ve padre en el cuarto de mi hijo, el diseño es original, no encontrarás otra mejor para que luzca en el cuarto de tu hijo.LO MALO: la luz es muy pero muy tenue ya que son solo 3 leds, la la lámpara por llámale de algúna manera por qué no lo es, no se puede conectar a la luz ya que su funcionamiento es por pilas 3 AAASOLUCIÓN : Irenes que meterle mano, la abriré y meteré una tira de leds con regulador a 110v para conectar a la luz y así usarla de lámpara principal de la habitación, la otra solución es sacrificar que gire y meter un zoquet con un foco.Pondré fotos de cómo viene por sí alguien tiene una idea mejor, pero si quieres usarla así cómo está no te servirá de nada más quede adorno.
