Signature Design by Ashley Kian Poly Wrought Iron Table Lamp with Drum Shade - Black & White

I ordered 2 of these lamps - I really do love the shape and height of them. The first thing I noticed upon receiving them is how carefully packaged they were to offer protection for the shade - so when I immediately noticed the dents in the one shade I was a little bit surprised. I am assuming it is something that must have happened in the manufacturing process rather than shipping - as there was no damage to the box, it was packaged so well, and the other lamp arrived in perfect condition. Upon plugging the lamp in it appears as if there are 4 black lines - about 2” long each - where each of the dents are in the material. The second thing I noticed is that the lamp bases are not solid black. They have kind of an antiquing grey look to them which I was not expecting at all. That is not a deal breaker for me but I would have preferred to have solid black and wouldn’t have purchased if I had known ahead of time. A bit frustrated with the running around I have to do (locate and bring item to a UPS store) to return the lamp for a replacement shade - time is money - but for a $50 item I would really like it to look like new so I will do what needs to be done.

Nice little lamp. It was taped in the box with the shade securely packaged separately. By securely I mean it was taped around and around. The foam was messy and I had it all over the place trying to get that lamp out. I finally cut open the bottom of the box and pushed it out. Someone went crazy with the packaging tape, so frustrating, but the lamp arrived in perfect condition. It is exactly 25.5” tall with the lampshade on. The base is black, but kind of an off black with a bit of distressing.

Perfect size and color for my needs (my office at work needed a lamp to make it more homey). Works well with an LED lightbulb to give off the perfect soft lighting I wanted (I used a 60 W equivalent bulb).

This is the worst lamp I have ever bought!! It generates really bad smell and it could be bad to health. And the build quality is not good as well.
