Much more than expected!!
Let me start off by saying that I'm not a big fan of electric yard equipment, and I really didn't expect much from this unit...but I was very much surprised!!! For it's size and battery power, this thing is a beast!! it cut through my flower beds, which have been untouched for three years, and turned the soil over without slowing down at all. although I didn't time it, one battery lasted through two 50 foot by 2 foot stretches with power to spare and into a third section. Money well spent, since the space was too narrow to use my gas powered rototiller. Highly recommended. only two minor negatives to report.... 1) it pulled up a rock which wedged in between the tines and the dirt shield, and since there is no way to reverse the direction or freewheel the tines< I had to pound out the rock with a hammer and metal punch,,,,but only once in two 50 foot stretches. the other minus is that the the auxiliary handle on the shaft is hard to secure in place because the shaft is very smooth and it is almost impossible to tighten the clamp tight enough to keep it from moving around. Simple fix though is to find your "sweet spot" and wrap some type of "duct tape' or other material around the shaft to help the handle "get a grip"...easy peasy!!! Great little flower bed tiller, well worth the money!!

Better than ever expected!
I had never used a tiller before and was unsure of what to look for or get. I came across this particular model having two batteries and goggles with gloves good ratings. So I decided to give it a try. It has not disappointed me at all as a matter of fact, I have decided to get a bigger one because I have a rather large property. I highly recommend the quality the experience and the performance.!

Works well but extra part made assembly a little confusing.
Works better than expected. Used it to till an existing raised garden bed (10x10). Took about 7 minutes. Went down 6-8 inches. Any small rocks that were in the way just got pushed to the side. Still had 3 out of 4 bars of battery left. Tines were sharp and didn't get bogged down. The reason I only gave it 4 out of 5 stars is related to the assembly. There were 2 screw down locking handles (one on the bottom rod and one on the top rod). There should only be one on the top. Needed to unscrew and remove the one on the bottom in order to connect both portions of tiller and screw down top one to lock in place. Not a big deal once I realized there was an extra one and watched a video that showed the same issue. And the washer that collapses when tightening the handle was a separate piece and not attached to the handle as seen in the Amazon videos. Aside from that confusion, everything works well. Battery charges easily. Light on the plug shows red (needs charging) or green (fully charged). Also, little button on battery that lets you see who much charge is left. Just press once and it shows battery life that's left. Light goes off automatically. Nice touch. Overall, decent product for our needs and easy to use. Just watch the videos in the thumbnails on this site to see assembly which wil make it simple. (photo of extra handle attached)

Powerful little tool
I returned the first one cause I thought there was a flaw in manufacturing but it turned out the handle had an extra piece I needed to unscrew off. I didn’t know this and not on instructions. I bought a second one and same design and figured out how to remove the extra piece on the handle and bingo the pieces fit into each other easily. I’m 70 years old and this tool is amazing. I wish I had it 10 years ago. I used it to til my garden and remove viney weeds that were taking over. Battery lasts an hour. I bought it with 2batteries so I could keep working. Love it. It’s powerful and easy to remove debris caught in the machine. I used it 3times so far and it’s working great for my needs.

Awesome value for small gardens
This thing surprised me, it was a little bit of a gamble and I thought for the price if it sucks I'm not out too much compared to a little gas tiller at the same status. Honestly it's a great little tiller probably get about 40 minutes of work out of the two batteries but if you're just doing a little area 10x10 you're good to go

A beast
Works like a beast. Great value for the money, durable, takes no to dig wholes, comfortable enough for me to use. Battery last a good while. I worked on my garden off and on a whole day on a full battery. And never changed the batteries. I dropped it a couple times because I'm clumsy, so very durable. Does seem to like roots, lol.. I did have to stop at times to get roots out of it. But no biggie. Seems pretty quiet. Not load at all.

Pleasantly Surprised
My biggest concern was should I order an extra battery with the tiller. I have a 20 X 20 400 sq ft garden plot in my back yard, and I did not know if the soil could be turned over with only one battery. The battery powered the tiller for the entire plot and also had some battery power left to till a portion of my lawn that I will reseed. Very pleased with the performance. I don't know how long it will last but, it definitely took a load off of my back as I used to turn the soil with a shovel or work it up with a garden hoe. This tool now does the job with minimum effort. Highly recommend this tiller.

Works great. Battery disgusting
Works as it should. Nice addition to gardening on an existing plot that has been loosened up. Using it as a hoe is a better description. Easy to use.The real downside is battery life. Very small capacity for the power it requires to operate efficiently other than on a room sized plot. You're lucky if it last between 15 and 20 minutes. So I made a major adjustment by modifying it so I am able to use "brand" name batteries with much larger capacities that powers all my other 20 volt tools. Huge difference.
