I bought this welding machine for home use. I always want one, but I do not want to pay too much for it. After I bought this welder, the auger of my snow blower was broken from hitting a chunk of ice. I use this welder to fix the auger. The welding is more of a thin metal welding, but with some trail-and-error using the current adjustment, I welded the auger back together. The fixed auger survive 3 more snow storm so far before spring came. I will do some more welding to add re-enforcement to the auger before the next winter come.This is a good welding machine for hobby and home use , and it came with everything on the list. The hand-held face shield is practical, but I bought an auto-darken face shield to use with this welding machine. I want to be able to see clearly what I was welding before the welding start, especially for thin metal welding. I highly recommended this machine for home owner and hobbyist. For the price you cannot go wrong.

I was trying to make some shaped rebar Christmas decorations this year and needed a basic welding kit on the quick. Ordered this and got exactly what I was looking for. I had no experience welding whatsoever but was able to get this to run the included rods just fine. I have no idea how suitable this tool would be for larger or more structurally important jobs, but I was able to get my rebar put together on medium settings and just below what would trip my 15 amp breaker.The included safety equipment is a joke, but at this price point you have plenty of money left over to buy a real lens mask.

I loved everything about it why portable it’s in a case it’s so easy and I always use safety and safety is important no matter what you’re doing in lightweight only 3.3 pounds welding machine at its best in portable form in a case RC handheld welder machine another great tool to add to your collection. When you need the weld something you think of it and do it and it’s over with right then and there that’s how easy it is way better than pulling out everything in a regular welding machine just to do one thing no way not me Iona welding machine it’s only 3.3 pounds and a handheld, portable ARC welder all in its own little case it’s just amazing I am so happy minor welding things to do around the house got it made got it tackled out.

Great product for price

Sadly, I bought this thing back in February and didn't even try to use it until today. First time I tried to use it I found the power switch was no good. In fact, it wasn't even there. I had to take it completely apart to find the switch inside, and it's clear all of the switch parts aren't there. So, I have a power switch that doesn't work, and no option to return or get support. I've tried finding a replacement switch with no luck. So, I basically have a brick. 😞 Buyer beware - if you buy one of these, confirm it works as soon as you receive it!

I purchased this portable welder to use on several classic car projects when I didn't want to drag out the large 220 v welder. I have used this welder several times now and found that it works very well but it does require some practice and a little technique. It is great for small jobs when more power is not required. My recommendation is that you practice on some scrap metal until you get used to how it works. After that I'm sure you will find that it works well.

Power switch went bad and started blowing house breaker. Before that it wended great. So gotta replace the switch to get it back up and running.
