At first I was cooking it my own way by mixing it with warm water and putting in fire and it came out lumpy. I then followed the directions on the box by boiling water first and the cooking it and it came out perfect , I will be buying again and again

the original plantain fufu use to be real dark chocolate color with nice aroma and taste. i used to make it from scratch in Nigeria. It was never golden color. may be color enhancer is added. i shall try and make it during summer because the green plantain needs a lot of sun to dry before grinding and sift.

I was really hoping for an authentic fufu experience, but this product fell short. The taste is off, lacking the familiar starchy richness of traditional fufu. The texture is uneven, making it difficult to knead properly, and it doesn’t form a smooth, stretchy consistency. Quality-wise, it seems poorly processed—clumpy and grainy instead of soft and elastic. Definitely not what I expected, and I wouldn’t recommend it
