Does the job!
First off I don't see anything wrong with this cutter. All the negative reviews are misleading I think. Mine arrived in a box that you could tell had been thrown around a bit but the machine was in perfect condition. Within 30 minutes after receiving it I was making keys. I had never done this before. And if you pay attention to what you are doing and use common sense this machine does a great job! I can't complain what so ever about it. It's a good little key cutting machine for someone just starting out and who wants to save time and money by doing things yourself. It only cuts regular keys. Doesn't do the new square type key used by a lot of the newer cars. It does save you money for most of your basic keys. I've cut house keys and a few Chrysler keys that had transponders on them with no problems and the machine is already paying for itself. Like I said you have to use common sense and pay attention to what you are doing and you can make perfect duplicate keys. Also it doesn't hurt to watch a few utube videos on how to do it.

Didn’t ever expect to own my own key cutter!
The media could not be loaded. Local hardware stores, big box stores and locksmiths refuse to cut keys purchased on Amazon. It doesn’t matter if you absolve them from all liability and offer to pay handsomely for their cutting services – they just refuse to work with you! After speaking to a particularly rude & dismissive locksmith, I purchased this Anrain Duplicating Machine, which is similar to many cutting machines on Amazon (but looked to have a nicer lightbulb setup). Cutting keys is actually quite easy – I learned to use one at the age of 17 when I worked in the maintenance department of a hotel. This machine is even easier in that the key is automatically guided throughout the cut, rather than controlled manually.I did have to order a replacement machine because the first one sent was (superficially) damaged by Amazon’s poor packing job. The second unit arrived unscathed. Also, I had to return the keys featured in the video because their chips couldn’t be programmed to start our truck. Fortunately, these keysworked perfectly. I guess it’s good I own a key duplicating machine, since I had to cut multiple sets of keys!

it worked.
able to cut 3 rav4 keys. Saved me 100's of $ when coupled with a key programmer from autozone. The instructions are terrible though, also there is a microswitch on the undersize that needs to be disengaged to turn on with the handwheel thingy.

Great Product
This product is a fantastic find! It's reasonably priced, making it accessible for most budgets without compromising on quality. The product is exactly as described, and its usefulness cannot be overstated. I've found it to be incredibly practical and efficient in meeting my needs. The attention to detail is impressive, and the performance is on par with more expensive alternatives. If you're looking for something reliable, well-made, and at a fair price point, this is the perfect choice. Highly recommended!

It saved me money!
I needed a replacement key for my Ford Explorer. The cost was $230 for one key! No way! Not for one key!So, I purchased a key and programmer from Toms Key Company online and attempted to find someone to cut my new key.Home Depot, Lowe's, Ace hardware no one would cut my key.So, I bought this Key cutting machine from Amazon. I purchased a couple of extra chipped keys from Amazon while I was at it.And...Viola, three programmed and perfectly cut keys for a total of $280.The key cutting machine is simple and easy to use, however the instructions seem to be translated directly from Chinese so they are very difficult to understand. But, I found a couple of videos on YouTube that showed me proper way of doing it.Now, I can make my own keys anytime I want.

Key Duplicator
The media could not be loaded. Works perfectly, very simple and easy to use with proper setup. Keep in mind your original key may be worn, and the replacement key may be a slightly different length. Match up the cut portions and measure the difference and adjust accordingly, I used digital calipers.

Easy to use, saved me a bunch of dough.
The first key I cut with no prior experience was just a house hey. Bang, done, simple.I then cut 3 GM double sided keys and they all worked fine. You just need to be careful that you have the keys aligned straight and square before you start. I found it helpful to align the tip of each key with the guide and the cutting wheel as my starting point. Also be sure that the cutting wheel will spin freely before you turn it on. If it is in contact with the key it will jamb immediately and break off a cutting tooth or two. Ask me how I know... Oh and the included instructions, just throw those out, they make no sense.
