Given two as gifts. Well sort of....
The media could not be loaded. I was given one as a gift and it wouldn't take a charge from the very start. I didn't say anything because I didn't want to upset my daughter. She found out anyway and because it had been so long since she's ordered mine she ordered me another one. I tried telling her I really really didn't need it. She's hard headed like me. The second one wouldn't take a charge either. I still haven't told her because I really don't want her ordering another one. These have been in a cupboard for some time. I guess I need to find out how to dispose of them because of the batteries. I suggest if you must have an immersion blender then do not buy this but buy a corded Emeril Legasse blender.

Shaft stopped turning after 4 months; customer service terrible
Tho I got this from a Kohl's (not from Amazon, tho I do get many things from A.) I'm using this as a place to let people know to avoid buying one of these. It wasn't that great even when working, but acceptable until 4 months after purchase the main part that does the blending (the blender shaft) froze up, wouldn't turn, no matter what I tried. I returned it to an address given in the manual; nothing for weeks, so I contacted them. They asked for proof that I had returned it. I went to UPS tracking and was able to show they had received it, and the name of the employee who signed for it, within 2 days. Next they wanted photos of the serial and model number plate (curved and shiny, not ideal for a photo, but managed to send them a clear image.) While I could no longer find the sales receipt, and told them that, I provided an image of my credit card statement showing the purchase. But they said I had to get proof of purchase from Kohl's. Contacted them (they're an hour away in a town I only go to a few times a year.) They said yes they could provide that. I asked if they could attach that to an email to me, but no I had to go to the store in person, show an ID etc. Today I did that, and they gave me a print-out showing the purchase. I scanned that document and attached to an e-mail to the company. The scan is quite clear, but they replied that it's not clear, then asked for the price, date of purchase, name of store etc, all of which are clearly on the image I sent them. We're now rescanning it to see if there's anything we can do to make it clearer, and will resend to them. But it's apparent they do not wish to send me a replacement part. I didn't like the blender that much, anyway, but would have kept using it if I could get the part. Hate to throw away a $90 product that only worked a few months, but it looks as tho I'm about to be in the market for a new blender, which I intend to buy on Amazon. Am perusing the reviews on this site. Hope someone reading this will be spared dealing with Emeril appliances and customer "service" !

Love it
Husband and I got this as a gift almost a year ago and we have had zero problems with it. The swiveled position is a little awkward and does sometimes require two hands, but I feel like that’s something minor for our house hold. She still works great! Love the different attachments, lack of a cord and charging stand.

Poor Quality
I bought this blender from a big box store. I barely used it. Did not have it that long either. It would not take a charge. Do not buy or waste your money on this product.

Not worth the money
I bought this one from Kohl's and it came with a free chopper cup that you had to fill out a form online and they sent it to us. It took months to get the chopper cup, and the cup was cracked upon arrival. It took months for a replacement with zero communication from the company. The immersion blender worked okay, although it seemed under powered. It recently stopped working for no reason. It is less than 2 years old and the lights come on when put onto the charger, but no output from pushing the buttons. Our last immersion blender lasted for years - the only reason we got this one is because it was cordless and included a few other attachments. It was not worth the money.

requires two hands, annoying interlock, anti-ergonomic and generally stops working after 6 months
The swivel handle would be innovative but the controls and the mandatory interlock prevent you from holding it comfortably in any configuration. The speed control REQUIRES a second hand, because you can't reach it with the same hand you are using to hold it without resetting the interlock.None of this really matters though, because it will last just longer than the 90 day guarantee from Tristar, and then either stop working or stop charging or both.Garbage-tier design and durability lead me to believe an actual chef never tested this, and I will probably never take any Lagasse endorsement seriously at this point.

Broke within a year
When it worked it was fantastic however it broke within the first year...just stopped charging. I wrote the company to find out what the issue might be and they wanted me to send back to them at my own expense. Not very customer friendly in my opinion.
