I had an upper arm fracture and this sling is much better than the one the hospital gave me. I'm a 6'1" guy and found it fit very well. It's comfortable and I don't feel that it gets too hot. The sliding pad on the shoulder strap is comfortable. I like the cell phone pocket in the front, and it holds the phone securely. The shoulder strap is a little bit short but long enough to loosen it sufficiently when I'm sitting or lying in bed. I usually undo the Velcro instead of the buckle to loosen it. Very easy to use. I never used the thumb strap.Minor cons:You have to put your hand through the closed area where your wrist is to put it on and take it off because it's sewn together at the top where the shoulder strap meets the sling. I would have preferred they attach the shoulder strap with Velcro. Also, the little strap that closes the sling at the top near your elbow is really made for right hand use, because it's sewn on one side and a Velcro's on the other. I had a left arm break and that put the Velcro on the inside, which didn't work well.The quality seems good, the Velcro holds very well, and it has provided good stabilization for my arm both before and after my surgery.

Relief at last! My son had the most flimsy sling and his elbow was in agony! This sling offers stability which really helped with his pain. the Velcro's are strong, the fabric is excellent quality, and it is comfortable on the shoulder and around the neck. It provides support but is breathable and not bulky at all. It is adjustable in multiple places and fit really well for a 13 year old. The price was really good as well compared to others! All in all a really good purchase. This lasted for all 8 weeks that my son needed to wear this.

After ORIF surgery on my arm, I left the hospital with one of the standard flimsy slings provided. It offered no cushion, dug into my shoulder, and had very minimal support. Knowing I was going to be spending a significant amount of time with my arm immobilized, I decided to invest in something a little more comfortable.Here is a list of my pros and cons:Pro:- thick cushioning around arm for added protection- pocket is very conveniently- clip for easily getting on and off while one-armed- back cushion for less shoulder painCon:- strap length barely fit me as a 5’7” 130lbs female. I have a small frame and the strap was just long enough to comfortably hold my arm at a 90° angle. I couldn’t tighten it anymore due to limited mobility of the affected arm. I don’t know how this product would work for anyone who is taller or has a larger frame than myself.Overall, I do recommend the product as it was a lifesaver during recovery and very comfortable.

The sling the doc gave me after a major surgery died in 2 weeks. The Velcro can’t last with constant adjusting or opening and closing the snap on this saved me. You adjust for size then simply snap and unsnap to get in and out. It worked perfectly and after several months of use it’s still perfect. After healing I hung onto this one I really liked it.

Had rotator cuff surgery. At 4 weeks transitioned from the Breg Arc II (junk) to this sling that I bought off Amazon. This is so comfortable, and the quality is too notch. I have a iPhone max that nicely fits in the front pocket. As anyone with this surgery knows, you are limited to what you can carry and the sling pocket is very helpful. Side note: I had massive ulnar nerve irritation in my pillow sling which has surprisingly calmed down transitioning to the one I am reviewing.

This is so much better than the sling the ER gave us. This sling provided instant relief and caused no chafing on the neck. It is comfortable enough to wear all day and sleep in with no issues.

This is the most comfortable, most easily adjusted sling I've used. Strongly recommended.
