Was a perfect fit for my 2018 Chevy Colorado ZR2
Removed old unit and installed this one in about 40 minutes. I have a Chevy Colorado ZR2 with 84,000 miles on it. My screen went dead. After checking fuses and connections it was apparent that the screen itself had died. I looked into all options and this seemed to be the best option for the money. Once installed it fired right up and works perfect. The digitizer on the screen is glossier and actually looks better than the original. All my settings populated and this required no programming. The date, time, and my presets all populated and it was a seamless install. This was both the screen and the digitizer and they arrived assembled together and ready to go. I only installed this yesterday but as it is today I give this five stars. If anything fails in the next few months I will update the review.

Exact fit.
I installed this on my 2018 Chevrolet Silverado yesterday. It is very easy to install and is working perfectly. I have no reason to think it will not continue to work well. I think it looks better than the OEM.

I've made it mad and it's not a friendly Ghost Touch Issue anymore
Purchased in Aug '24 it's now Mar '25 for the all too common ghost touch digitizer issue (2016 Tahoe in this case).Installation was a bit tedious but went well and looks like a factory OEM replacement. However, it ends with "looks like" since the problem remains plus it's worse now with deciding which Apps I should use and distracts me while driving with changing every possible button option. It also determines who I can talk hands free with hangs up on me if it doesn't like them. This YWM digitizer brand should be considered for the next Final Destination movie - we all can relate! For the "rest of the story" I've diagnosed it down to the digitizer by removing the digitizer flex strip to the control board. My display currently works fine with no ghosting - I use the "Menu" knob to select Apps / features until I can buy a better brand of digitizer. Salvage yards have complete screens for $100, but you have to match the part number (no joy there yet). GM sells the complete screen assembly new for $918 (nope). Good luck and research your seller for 100% fix comments.....Submitted by: Final Destination Survivor

Works as well (or better!) as the original
The control panel in my husband’s truck has been “ghosting” for well over a year now, meaning the screen display will suddenly start jumping all over as if someone is choosing options on the screen. We asked the Chevy dealership about it, and they said it would cost over $1,000 to install a new screen, so that was not an option. My husband did a lot of research and found this replacement panel. I was very skeptical about how a touchscreen at this price would perform. I was also concerned about the installation process, as he is not a car guy and only does light maintenance on our vehicles. He assured me he had done his homework and he believed it would work. He also ordered a set of installation tools for about $5 to help with removing the plastic dash surrounding the touch screen. We received the first screen and he was able to install it rather easily by removing the plastic dash, pulling out the old touch screen, and transferring a few cables from the back of the old screen to the back of the new one. Unfortunately, the newscreen must have been damaged in transit because there was a small area in one corner that was not responding properly. We notified the company, and they quickly sent us a new touchscreen. My husband installed the new screen, and it functions perfectly! He said it even pairs better with his phone than the original factory screen ever did. We are completely satisfied with this product and highly recommend it.

hard to remove old one, but this one is clearer and actually works
First a note, the tab on the last cable to come out of the back must be pressed into really hard or the cable will not come free. The removal of the old digitizer is a bit trying, and if you think you have sliced part of the screen, know that it isn't in direct contact with the digitizer, so the part sliced is likely the polarized film on the digitizer not part of the screen. The tool kit from ifixit is amazing for this with the large blade tool giving good control, no need to heat. For the digitizer itself, it is clearer than the original, and the film on top of the original doesn't exist, making it a glassier surface. So far the ghost touch problem is gone, will update if it comes back. The pre installed sticky pads work very well to stick the new one in place, and so far I have no complaints. If you have to fix it, 30 dollars and 2 hours (glue removal) is better than 600 plus labor for me. Would highly recommend this to anyone having the touch issue.Full disclosure, install was less than an hour ago, and not much time using it yet, will update if anything does change.Additional note, the film that made the original feel like plastic and made it foggy to see through, was also anti glare. The replacement is shiny in addition to being clear. This hasn't been a problem as it would be hard to see in direct light new or old, but to note this replacement isn't anti reflective.

Very easy to install and so far has resolved my issues.
My old touch screen had a mind of it's own and would randomly start changing stations, swapping screens and was getting very annoying. The left and right edges were the only thing still functioning. Nothing in the center of the screen would work. Installation was pretty easy. The new screen comes with the necessary adhesive strips already applied and no additional glue is required. I suggest watching a few YouTube video's on how to remove the screen from the vehicle and change the touch screen. The hardest part is getting the old adhesive off of the metal bezel. I suggest a quality Acetone. Overall replacement took less than an hour start to finish with about 20 minutes of it was dealing with the glue. To remove the old screen I used a heat gun to soften the adhesive around the perimeter and an exacto knife to separate it from the frame then scraped as much of the old adhesive with the exacto knife before using Acetone to remove the remainder.
