Hooke Road Front Rear Tube Half Doors for 2018-2025 Jeep Wrangler JL Unlimited & Gladiator JT, Set of 4 Doors

I like the half doors; they fit my Sahara 2024 4xe perfectly! Here are some tips to help you install the doors correctly on the first try:1. After screwing the hinges onto the half doors, do not tighten the screws yet. Hang the doors on the Jeep and ensure they lock properly. Once they do, then tighten the screws in place.2. If the locks are not clicking, try adjusting the lock cylinders by moving them closer.3. The locks might not be working because of the rubber on the side next to the lock, which prevents the lock from being close enough to the door to close. To check if this is the case, consider removing the rubber piece and try locking the door. If this resolves the issue, you can refine the rubber piece by removing part of it and making it thinner.I would like to mention that the customer has been very responsive and helped guide me through the installation.

Nice doors but the figment is a little off. The latch side sticks out past the body and the rear swing limiter strap isn’t at the correct height. They do the trick of keeping the kids a little better protected

If I could stand the cold, I’d leave them on all year!

I initially was having the same issue as some of the other reviewers with the rear doors not fitting. I reached out to support and they were able to provide information to correct my installation mistake. I had the hinges on wrong and needed to swap them with the opposite side. Now all 4 doors sit and lock properly with the rubber stops in place. Wanted to post this review so that I might hopefully stop someone else from making my same time-wasting mistake. Great product and great deal compared to other tube style doors like it.

Received the product and had a fit issues. Contacted support and replacement shipped out very quickly. The support team and the service they provide is top notch. I highly reccomend this product. The doors are top quality and look amazing. Thank you guys big time!!!

While the doors look great once they’re on, the instructions are crummy and the parts are not actually labeled. While that’s not a huge issue, the rear passenger door does NOT fit properly. It won’t latch on its own unless you loosen every single bolt, latch it (after some finagling and cursing) and then tighten everything. So, renders it basically useless. To top it off, that’s the same door that the black textured coating is flaking off. Will likely just end up throwing some rustoleum on it, and hoping for the best. Should’ve sprung for better quality. 🙄

Update: Oct 20, 2023Thanks to the review posted by Joshua Smith, I was able to see the error of my ways and swapped all the hinges to the opposite door so all the hinges are now facing outward and all the doors now fit and the locking mechanism is engaged on each door. Can’t believe I wasted hours trying to figure this out. In all fairness, the instructions provided by Hooke Road are TERRIBLE and you cannot see if the hinge pins are facing out or in. I URGE them to add a graphic that shows the downward view of the front facing rail so you can see that the hinge pin should be facing outward. It would avoid a huge headache experienced by not just me.———————I really like the overall design of the doors, but both rear doors are wider by 3/8” (29.5”), more than specified on the Hooke Road website (29.17”), and it is causing an issue with fitment that renders both rear doors non-operational. Just like the other review posted here on Amazon. Essentially, if I attach the hinges flush with the door plate, then it pushes the rest of the door back, and the latch point on the Jeep is blocked from going into the latch mechanism on the door by over 1/4”. I was able to adjust the front doors to fit and latch perfectly because there is enough play in the hinges to make adjustments and there is at least 1/4” of room to spare inside the lock mechanism box.There is ZERO play on the rear doors due to being slightly too wide. I tried for about 2 hours to align the doors with no luck. I would not buy these doors until the issue is resolved. Unfortunately, I’ve been super busy for the past month and did not have time to fit and adjust the doors until today…2 days past the return window. My plan is to reach out to Hooke Road support and give them an opportunity to resolve.

Love the half doors. Feel sturdy and secure! Looking forward to feeling the breeze this summer.I had a minor issue with the supplies, being that 5 driver side hinges and 3 passenger side hinges were delivered. I was also missing a rubber bumper for one door. Mistakes happen and they rectified it promptly. Received the missing door hinge and rubber bumper today and promptly placed the doors. Great customer service!
