Makes cake decorating a breeze
I recently purchased a commercial cake decorating spin table and I am absolutely thrilled with it. The build quality is exceptional, providing a smooth and stable rotation that makes decorating cakes a breeze. It's sturdy and well-balanced, which is crucial for detailed work. The table is also easy to clean, which is a huge plus. This spin table has truly elevated my cake decorating experience. I highly recommend it to both professional bakers and hobbyists.

Slowest speed is too fast - Doesn't allow cake cardboard
I want to write a useful and fair review. This is a 44 LB machine... heavy... You must put it in a place and not move it, which means it mostly works for businesses to place on a table and not move it. I decided to buy it, because I was trying to make a 6-tear wedding cake for family friend's son, and I wanted my finishing to be perfect. Prior to that, I had used manual turn stands, which worked ok, but I had to use one hand to turn the stand and one hand to decorate. So, I thought an electrical turning stand would free up both hands to decorate and make the icing perfect.I could not use this machine for the purpose I bought for two reasons:1- the slowest speed was too fast. The display showed 60. It means 60 RPM (revolution per minute) or the stand turns 60 times per minute... that's one full circle per second! It was just too fast to be in control. There is no way to slow the speed down. You can only make it faster!!!2- If you look at the picture of the machine, you will see a vertical stainless steel plate. That plate was a hair higher than the surface where the cake sits. It might seem like no big deal, right? Practically, the cake does not sit directly on the turning stand surface. Most likely, the cake was built on a cardboard. You might have used same-size cardboard as the cake, you might have used slightly bigger cardboard to place the cake on. There are thin cardboards and thicker cardboards. Some cardboards are curated, which make them much thicker than normal, but these are all options of the types of cardboards a cake-maker might be using to place the cake on and move it on the workplace till the final destination. So, here is the problem:Because the vertical metal plate is only a hair higher than the surface of the turn-table, the cardboard hits the vertical plate and prevents the cake from coming closer to the vertical plate to smooth icing surface. The cardboard I used was about one centimeter bigger than the cake diameter, which meant I had to make the icing one centimeter thick to be able to smooth it with this machine... Well, not only I was making a naked cake and thick icing wasn't the look I was trying to make, but it also meant I needed to use triple the amount of icing to get the smooth look I wanted.Needless to say, after I realized that this machine was not helping, I went back to my $15 manual turn stand to complete the cake. And needless to say, I returned this machine. The seller was reasonable and understanding of my issues. Thanks to them I got my money back.Recommendations for the manufacturer, 1) I would make the vertical plate go up and down to accommodate the cardboard thickness and leave it up to the user to adjust it the way they need; and 2) I would make the speed lower: 30 or 45 RPM is workable. For users, if you don't make cakes daily, don't buy this machine. It is not for home use. It is for commercial use where they make mass cake production and the icing can be thick and the cake will sell no matter what. If you want to use it at home, make sure to either use a cardboard same diameter as the cake or even smaller so the cake touches the vertical plate and the cardboard won't be an obstacle. And be prepared to work with 60 RPM speed. If you can do both, go for it.On a positive note, the machine looks great. The turning table looks slick and has measurements for where to place your cake based on its diameter.I wish I took a video, but I was so frustrated to remember to take photos or video.

good product
I love using this product to get straight, smooth edges on my cakes, they look really nice after, much better than me doing it by hand with a regular straight edge. the machine is easy to use. make no noise at all. you could use a cake drum of any high because the vertical bar is adjustable. you can control the speed. i am not a professional baker so speed at 60 or 65 works perfect for me.i would give 5 stars but the control panel is a little defective because sometimes all the lights stars blinking at the same time so i have to give the machine a little tap to stop them from blinking.even though the machine is easy to use they should include instructions for things that i have to figured out myself. i included a picture of my first work and it looks ok to me. i could be better but i was rushing to finish this projectthank you and i hope my review help others

Best thing ever for a home baker(y)
I absolutely love this thing! It is very straightforward. Easy to use. The time I have saved is unfathomable. I would give 5 stars if the instructions were better and the guides/ scrapers came off so they could be cleaned in the dishwasher.
