These jumbo vacuum storage bags were a lifesaver for moving my student into the dorm. One bag held an entire bed set—comforter, sheets, pillows—and even towels with room to spare.They compressed everything down to a manageable size, making packing and transporting so much easier. These are great storage bags, the valves hold the vacuum in place, we are storing a lot of clothes in them to use on a different season, great for travel, protecting your clothes from vermin too.

They are great has its own pump if you don’t have a vacuum available which if your traveling come in very handy , I love that it has a cap so once sealed correctly it keeps the air out and things tight. The bag is thick not flimsy so I believe it will hold well in storage .

I bought the pack of 8 Jumbo bags because I wasn't able to fit puffy queen sized comforters in any other bags I had. I'm just out of space to hang them in the closet too! I was afraid these bags would be too small, or come apart, reading some other reviews. But for the price and the overall great ratings I took a chance. Glad I did! So far I've shrunk a huge queen comforter in one bag, and a bunch of bed pillow, including a temper-pedic, in another. Now I've let them sit for a couple days in case they leak and bust out of my closet, but they're perfectly fine, and I'm ready to do more.

Vacuuming was a breeze. I used a handheld vacuum but I’m sure the one included would be great for travel. They sealed air tight. Increased closet storage space greatly. Very pleased. The jumbo fits pillows nicely. Photo is for 8 large bed pillows which reduces storage problems.

Great bag purchase storage is great, weight is light, seal is tricky but easy to figure out, bought two and only one vacuum worked. Would prefer a optional hand pump just in case of emergency.

Honestly, I was so surprised by these vacuum bags! At first, I thought they would be useless, but they really impressed me. I was able to fit my pillows, blanket, and duvet inside and I might need to grab a second pack for some of my clothes. I even used the hand pump that came in the pack, and it did a pretty good job. I didn’t need to use an electric vacuum at all. This is definitely a win in my book! The more items you put in, the flatter it gets. Super easy for packing and storing things for later.

UPDATE 8/7/24: One, possibly two of the bags has VERY slowly lost vacuum and I can't find a leak. I've re-deflated them and will update again in the future.ORIGINAL REVIEW:Have Ordered on 7/26, delivered 7/27, and used on 7/28.The PROS: It is now 8/2 and all of the bags have stayed deflated (5 stars). These are the perfect size for storing the variety of pillows I own, with plenty of room to spare (5 stars). I even put two old Tempur-pedic-type ergonomic pillows into one bag, but didn't deflate it all of the way since I didn't want to crush them too far. Decided today to increase the deflation a little on that bag, along with another bag I hadn't fully deflated.The CONS: I found that I had to use my old canister vacuum cleaner (which I was going to donate) to deflate these. My old and newer Dyson vacuums' openings were too large to fully enclose the bags' valves to deflate them (3 stars). These vacs usually work on the travel version bags I own, but not on these.The hand pump works OK (BUT it's a LOT of work to use), and since these are such large bags, hand-pumping doesn't get them fully deflated, so the outcome is not as flat as it could be (3 stars).TIP: when filling the bag with item/s, move the item/s so that they're/it's positioned under the valve a little (supporting the valve). That way you can lift the valve up a bit and hold onto it when you are deflating so that air will flow underneath it and out; otherwise, the other side of the bag will be sucked up to block the air space and the valve and deflation will be blocked.I will update this review after a period of time regarding how well the bags hold up.
