Kahvi Cafetiere Travel Mug/Coffee French Press/Tea Filter (Earl Grey) in Stainless Steel

A neat design which does the job of keeping a good coffee, hot and it is easy to clean.

Super pleased with my cup, makes a really nice coffee, with little/no leak from the grounds . Really sturdy too managed to drop it a few times and no damage.

Really well made, very robust and extremely effective. The quality of design and manufacture are faultless. Although a travel mug/cafetière, I use mine at my desk. I got it because I was fed up of the seals on the Zyliss cafetière mugs not lasting very long and of getting a final mouthful that was half coffee and half grounds. This looks to be much more robust while actually being more straightforward to clean. I accidentally knocked it over today, but it just wasn't a problem because it kept everything in, unlike a normal mug that would have flooded my desk. The only thing you need to watch is that it does its job SO well that you might need to leave the lid and plunger off for a while so that the coffee can cool down a bit. I now add my milk to the coffee and let it stand a few minutes, THEN put the lid on and press the plunger down. The first coffee I made kept hot ALL MORNING. Literally. As for the design of it, every little thing has been thought of, from the clip-back lid to the silicone sleeve for holding it. AND....... no final mouthful of coffee grounds! So the seal is WAY better. I just hope its longevity matches the quality of its manufacture. I can't praise it highly enough.

I bought this with great anticipation, as it promised to do exactly what I wanted. Give me a portable, filter coffee solution for when I drive or am golfing etc.Unfortunately, my version leaks really badly even when I screw the top part on tightly. It leaks through the gap when at 90 degrees or more.Maybe I have a faulty version but unless that is the case I couldn’t recommend this in good conscience.It’s a shame because the product feels well made and it retains the heat of the coffee well. Just don’t leak!

Keeps fluid warm/hot for a fab length of time.

Similar quality to the Bodum travel French press mug, but a bit less expensive. The grey colour is somewhat mauve which I like. So far no leaks and pleased with this purchase and would buy again.

Great cup, makes a great coffee and stays warm

I already owned one of the similar Bodum presses so decided to try this Khavi press instead as I preferred the look of it. I find it to be much more stylish in appearance, and functionally it worked exactly the same so I was very pleased with it for the first 6 months or so. Unfortunately I have to question its durability as mine will now no longer screw closed, which renders it completely useless. I have only ever hand-washed it so can't explain what has caused it to fail. My Bodum one that I have owned for longer is still fine.
