Quality speaker stand - the different model options have differing pros and cons
For the price, this is a well-built speaker stand and thus the four-star review.I feel this is a really good speaker stand. I have some pointers below that may help you choose this or another model, but the quality of this stand is good. I ended up going with the model with cable management opening and a smaller top plate. There are a lot of notes below that might be conveyed as so negative the review should lose stars. Again, this is a quality stand and the notes below are to point out some things that may help sway you in the right direction. Each stand has the ability for a custom height, but I can see why they include set holes and a pin to go through to help secure things at a specific height as the dial and portion to do the custom height might hold but since it is mostly plastic, I don't know if I'd count on it.Notes about the model with smaller top plate and includes cable management holes…==========================================================================If you are considering this model because of the cable management holes, please note that if you are using studio style monitors that need to feed a 3 pin power and TRS/XLS connectors especially if they are 90 degree like my needs, the cable management openings are going to provide a lengthy process to feed through and I gave up because it is effectively impossible and too cramped. If you are using this for home bookshelf speakers with raw wire speaker and RCA cables, then maybe they will fit. Even if you are able to stuff your cabling through the cable management openings, the manufacture has designed it so that the bottom opening is to face you and not the back wall as evidence that the Vondynote logo faces the cable management opening, so if you want to hide where the cables go into the cable management opening, you'll end up staring at the model number sticker instead of the Vondynote logo. The main tubing appears to be thinner than its cousin model that does not have the cable management, but not to the point of being considered flimsy or losing a star on the review. My studio desk does not have a large overhang lip for the screw on pressure fasteners to secure the speaker stand in place. Even with each locking screen hand and vice grip tightened, I felt there was too much potential for swaying or bumping into the stand and speakers falling. So I dumped the locking pressure portion of the stand. I acquired two M8 1.25 pitch hex bolts and drilled through my studio desk and screwed the speaker stand onto the desk and it is rock solid. I have had success with the desk screw pressure terminals like this speaker stand comes with on other desks for mounting monitors, etc. so this may be unique to my circumstance, but wanted to share that it was possible and effective way of mounting the stands also. The model with the bigger plate and no cable management….==========================================================================This model does have a tilt capability but it is very subtle and if you intend on side mounting the speakers, then the tilt will not tilt forward for you (would be a left/right tilt). The main pedestal tubing is thicker than its cousin model (the one that has holes for cable management). The upper stand is very big, and I felt was too big for my JBL LSR305 speakers as there was a lot of plate leftover and felt out of place. If you are choosing this stand for even larger speakers to fill the top plate, it does have a lip on the one side of the upper stand to help ensure the speaker does not slide off.

Exactly what I am looking for
I am using this to bring my Q-Accoustic speakers up to ear height. The sound quality is noticeably better for the speakers (M20HD) when they are on ear height. The stands are very heavy duty and stable. I can imagine them lasting for years. They easily support the weight of my existing speakers (5kg/12 pounds each). They look clean, and are very sturdy. The stands also unblocked a lot of space under the speakers. As you can see in the photo I can now have my microphone under my speaker, previously my microphone was either blocking the speaker or the screen. One drawback of this product is wire-management. This product could be better if it was able to store / hide wires inside of it. The product does come with two velco strips that match the color of the product, but it again does not completely hide away the wires.Overall, I would certainly recommend this product. The build quality and stability are a win for me.

Decent
4/5 due to the fact that the openings to run the cables are not wide enough to run 1/4'xlr or male/female plugs, let alone the head of a power chord. The build seems sturdy. I tightened up the clamps to the back corners of my table and kept the table away from the wall as ylur actually supposed to keep your monitors 5ft away from the walls.

Overall I am very happy with these speaker stands!
I wanted to get my Polk S15 speakers off my desk so they could be ear level and also open up some desk top space so it would feel less cluttered and these stands did that job perfectly. They're very stable. Even if I shake the desk a bit the stands have very minimal wobble they just move with the desk for the most part despite being so top heavy with these big speakers so the stand clamps very nice and firmly and the pipe portion stays tight. So when using my mouse and keyboard while gaming or coding I don't have to see them wobble in my peripheral vision. They assemble very easy with pretty much no need for instructions. I glimpsed at the instructions but I already put two and two together. Same bolt for the top speaker plate and bottom clamp so there's very little to figure out.The quality is very solid too and the padding on the speaker plate is a nice touch to reduce vibration and helps keep the sound coming from the speaker instead of the stand. Also the speaker height is very easily adjustable which is nice. Hand turn a knob and lift the speaker plate up then tighten it and you're done. Some issues I have with the stands:1- there's no real clean way to run the speaker wire without bringing in 3rd party cable management products. I wish they had a hole at the top and bottom of the pipe that holds the speaker up so you can run a cable through it or even better if they put holes down the back side of the pipe with little "wire guiding" clips. Right now my speaker wire just hangs off the back while I figure out a cleaner way to run the wire down. Probably will use some small adhesive clips so it should be a cheap and easy fix and is mostly a non-issue but for the cost, simplicity, and purpose of this product you'd expect a better way to do this as part of the design. Oh well. Not that big of a deal.My second issue is that one of the bolts it came with had a manufacturing defect where you put the hex tool into it to tighten it. It has a warped or almost smeared metal look to the inside of it making it impossible to properly tighten the bolt all the way. With some heavy pressure and slow turning I was able to tighten it enough to keep the plate from loosely rotating though it still is pretty loose compared to the other stand unfortunately. Oh well, I'll figure out the threading and buy one at my local hardware store. Annoying and easily avoidable if they just threw in an extra bolt. Can't imagine it would add more than a nickel to their cost considering even the cheapest products I've bought on Amazon like this almost always come with an extra screw or bolt just in case. All in all I love this and highly recommend it if you want to lift your speakers off your desk. It looks great and made my desktop workspace much more usable and less crowded. Not to mention, the audio sounds much better now that it's ear level and not sending sound below my head.Final note: please ignore the mess in my office after I just complained about no easy way to run the wire in a clean way. I just built my desk and I'm still in the process of doing cable management and organizing!

Good Product
These held up to my expectations and serve my purpose well. An articulating tilt-able top platform would have been better but I had some foam monitor tilt wedges that seem to work well so far.

Perfect small studio solution
Was deliberating over whether to get desk clamps like these, or floor stands, and I'm so happy with this choice. These clamp stands are incredibly sturdy, fit perfectly over the side of my desk near the corner, and give me so much extra desk space as they were previously on the table. I can have a MacBook pro open under the left speaker with room to spare.Everything about the product is well thought through... the height adjustment, with the horizontal pin, guarantees each side is the same height easily. The 12 degree tilt is perfect, actually more than I need (I only tilt a small fraction). The plates come with a pad that you stick to the metal once you've put it together (it's very easy to assemble, less than 5 minutes, all tools provided in the package).Ordered from USA but came fairly promptly to the UK and I'm absolutely delighted.(Only downside is I have to order a longer XLR cable, the red cable clearly not long enough now the height is raised!)

Muy buenas
Si tú espacio de trabajo es reducido estás bases son excelentes, yo las uso en monitores Yamaha HS5 y funcionan perfecto, tal ves dudaría si fueran de 8" pero muy bien
