I love the softbox I may get another one but it provides great lighting on its own. The light does not hurt my eyes Thank God! It is a game changer for my podcast! The only thing missing batteries for the remote.

You can spend a lot more, but I didn't need to. Easy to assemble, light works great - good remote - lots of options. Great value - everyone mentions that the stand is lightweight - true that's why it wasn't $175. Would buy it again.

I teach online and create on demand workouts. I've worked for the last 2-1/2 years with only a ring light. This box light changed my video lighting completely. It's so much easier to pick up my movements with this - less shadows.

Works great. Very bright and easy to assemble. Very lightweight. It comes with a carrying case. A longer cord would've been perfect but overall it's a good product.

Got this soft box to set up a photo booth for a wedding. It works and has good light, but there aren't a lot of adjustment options, it is a little flimsy and the round plastic piece that holds the bulb and pushes the fabric back to make the shape of the box, blocks the plug in for my flash trigger. I ended up having to use wire strippers to take the backing off my trigger flash jack to fit it in. The design could be better, but served it's purpose for the make shift photo booth.

Wow, this has everything. It is packed well and easy to assemble. Love the control dimmer feature for the light fixture. Love this.

My reselling photos are much more crisp and true to color now anytime of the day.

The media could not be loaded. The box light is a good size for the studio portraits I want to do. The height is also really nice and doesn’t seem to wobble very much so far. I was a Little worried at first when I tried to open the umbrella — you have to push the lightbulb holder back, like you would an umbrella, but I thought it would snap. I did. it gently and it opened properly, I’m going to leave it open for a little while to stretch the metal (if that makes sense). The review would only let me add one video but the dim function works nicely on the remote and so does the white, cool, and warm function as well as the auto function. The off function has issues and needs to be held at the perfect angle — agree with other reviews that the remote only allows you to turn the light off but not on. Otherwise product looks good so far. It’s very bright, thankfully, as I was worried I’d need to purchase two, but for what I’m wanting to do I’ll probably only need one.

Needed a new light for a small portrait project I was working on but didn't have the capacity to get a proper kit in a hurry. This one definitely did the trick in a pinch for professional results.Nothing fancy, and the build quality is poor on the stand, but it all fits into my photo gear backpack and was quick to set up with zero learning curve.The remote is perfect for setting the lighting temperature, although the accuracy isn't great I managed to get it tuned to my needs. The real product here is the lightbulb, but honestly the soft box itself worked well enough, it's really just the stand that shows its budget price the most.Happy with the purchase and will be using the light again in the near future.

I don't know why, I don't know if I'm crazy or something, but the tripod is freaking backwards. Look at the image they sell, and it's the same in person. The legs of the tripod should naturally point in the opposite direction to the way the main pole goes up. But it doesn't. It lacks common sense or a sense of logic at least. It doesn't help either that the control they give you is basically a decoration and have no real use for the way the light operates. It's literally just a bend backwards, simple turn on/off light that can't be regulated or adjusted in any possible way. Literally what the hell?

It's a good product but the tripod mechanism has to be improved, it's a little flimsy and fell into the set. Luckily nothing happened!
