This is a great and super fast little boat. It helps that they basically can't tip over - even if you do crazy jumps off wake or another boat it's going to stay upright. The range is good enough that if you're operating on a pond you'll never be out of range. On a lake, we noticed that we could take it out a couple of hundred feet from the dock, which is about as far as you can easily see it in waves anyway. Battery life is reasonable, but I had to replace one battery after a year. Thankfully, new batteries are inexpensive. The props are very sensitive to small amounts of damage. Even a tiny nick on the prop from running into the beach will dramatically slow down your boat. Your best bet is to pick up a couple of extra batteries and props when you purchase one.And while you're at it, purchase a second boat too, because it's great to have two or more of these boats zipping around and having a blast.

It was a fun little boat with stock internals but my kids wanted more speed to keep up with my bigger brushless rc boat so I installed a 2435 4800kv 2s brushless motor with a 25amp hobby park esc. Also added some stabilizer fins at the bottom and next going to add longer adjustable turn blades. Ive had this boat for over a year so it was well worth the upgrade from stock. This thing is very fast for 2s and is pretty stable at hight speeds. Re waterproof the inside and re-seal the screws is all I'm going to say or eventually the electronics will fail. Trust me because it will fill with water and in time it just gets worse. But don't let that stop you from buying this boat. It's very upgradable for such a small boat.

these boats are extremely fun. I own four so far. I have had no issues. The remote control will start beeping when the battery is getting low. has a pretty good run time. will not get stuck upside down. they are plenty fast. they even sound cool zooming bye. you may want to look into a second battery as they take a while to charge. I would recommend this product to anyone wanting to have fun on the water with no need to get wet.

This boat is pretty cool. It was easy to use, worked well and was pretty reasonably priced. My son really liked it, but it goes way too fast for a smaller pool. I think you would need a pond, lake or really large swimming pool to be able to really enjoy it.

I really though I would be leaving a good review here, but after 1 day the charger light won't come on and the battery can't be charged. The 3 or 4 uses we did get, the boat was quick and fun. But now, it doesn't weigh enough to even be a boat anchor.I reached out to customer service through Amazon and instead of getting resolution I received a link asking me to submit a video to it so they could assess the problem. The link doesn't work so there is no way to submit anything and they are obviously using a bot that takes a day to respond since it is a charger issue. Just a complete waste of my time.While waiting for a response, I ordered two more batteries and chargers that cost another $20. The charger light comes on with the new batteries, so it looks like it was a bad battery.Again, seemed like a fun product but it's worthless without a working power system. Recommendations would be to1) provide an additional battery and charger as an optional price add;2) have an easier way to address non boat related failures;3) provide some specifications for compatible chargers and batteries that could be used. When use the provided charger is your only option and that is the weak point of the system, it's not going to last.

The media could not be loaded. We bought this for our 8 year old grandson for his birthday since we would be at the lake with all his cousins. He loved it, as did all the kids!!! For the price, we thought it would be cheap..but its not at all! Very sturdily built (impressed that it is stainless steel). Doesn't capsize (turns immediately upright), the speed is perfect, and he was able to maneuver it immediately! It turns corners on a dime!! We will be buying a second one for our 9 year old grandsons birthday next month since he loved his cousins gift so much!Great quality, the battery lasted for over 30 minutes (we bought a backup battery just in case and didn't even have to use it!) Perfect for little hands..but even dad and grampa loved it!Highly recommended!!!

Amazing boat, although you must purchase 1200 mAh sea jump batteries which last wayyyyyy longer.
