Took a trip out of town to visit a relative and did not want to bring the docking station. I got this cable and it worked very well. I could tell that the picture did not have the same resolution as the doc would, but it did the job and was easy to pack with all my other charging cables.

We love this cable and how easy it is to set up the switch with a tv without a dock :) so nice for when we’re traveling or hanging out at a friend’s place - the cable is great quality and the Zelda details are fun

first, know that this cable requires it's own power source that is not provided. surprise! you'll need a short USB-A to USB-C cable to use the TV's USB-A port (most have these days). so go ahead and add that cable to your cart. second, i did a side by side using my switch dock (I have OLED version), and there is a significant decline in quality. I would only use this for travel. if you are trying to avoid getting a dock with this, sorry get a dock. The dock is glorious compared to the cable, which makes no sense really, but yeah.

I brought for my grandson to plug the HDMI to the tv to his Nintendo switch so he can just play on tv bigger screen tv it works never knew that they sell cable cord to connect the Nintendo switch my grandson loves it thank you for having it this is a very good excellent review
