Router's great. Buy your own bits.
It's a trim router, so if you are familiar with them, well, this is one. It's a good one. Plenty of power, stable in the hand, and decent base.What's wrong with it: Well, the base isn't the best ever. Cheap plastic, doesn't like adjustment, but if you take the time to set it up right, it works great. Just don't assume you can "dial it in with the knob" because it's not quite that good.The included and assorted bits are fine if that's what you want. I'd recommend using a "real" set of bits so you can make more profile cuts as you need. For me that includes a 90 degree corner with a bearing on top. Disappointing Quality and Complicated Setup
I had high hopes for this wood router tool, but unfortunately, it fell short in several areas.1. Build Quality: The tool doesn't feel sturdy and lacks the durability expected from a woodworking tool. It gives the impression of being cheaply made.2. Difficult Assembly: Setting up the router is frustrating. The parts don't fit together easily, making the process unnecessarily time-consuming.3. Bit Fitting Issues: While the kit includes a variety of bits, fitting them securely into the router is a hassle. Adjustments take too long, reducing efficiency.4. Poor Instructions: The manual lacks clear guidance on assembling and using the tool. I found it quite confusing and had to figure things out on my own.Overall, this router tool is more trouble than it's worth. Given the frustrating setup and lack of clarity, I cannot recommend this product.

It will cut an edge.
Couldn't find my full size router (lost somewhere in my shop) so I purchased this for a small project I was doing for our church (edging some shelves). I did ok, but was a pain in the ass to use. I would do the job, but required about 3 times the time and effort to do a good job. I would NOT recommend for someone not use to using a router as it could be dangerous.
