Perfect for a nightstand, this color changing moon lamp is a big hit with my special needs adult daughter. Easy button controlled lamp with astronaut figure that comes with two side sided tape so he doesn't get lost and stays perfectly in place. Very cute and well worth it!

I ordered this lamp for my grandson for Christmas to match his new comforter set..It is really cute but I was expecting it to be much bigger.The photo posted made the lamp look like a decent size.

Cute Lamp, But Top Heavy
This lamp is a lot of fun, and I plan to pass it on to a friend who loves space-themed stuff when I'm done with it. The plastic moon itself has lots of craters, which give it a satisfyingly textured look when you light it up.Having said that, it has some substantial drawbacks. As I was trying to plug the lamp in, it kept falling over because the "moon on a stick" makes it so top-heavy. Adding the astronaut would help somewhat with the balance, but the wooden base could really use a weighted metal disk to keep in anchored. Because of this, I can't imagine that the adjustable rod for the moon would be of much use, since changing the position would unbalance the whole thing.Also, I'm not particularly happy with the electrical components. I didn't realize that the lamp can only plug into a USB port or adapter (not included). The switch that turns it on and off seems flimsy and cheap, and I suspect it will break long before the lamp stops working.All in all, a cute concept, but the engineering and quality need some work.
