This is exactly what I was looking for. Value was very reasonable, quality and sturdiness of the hammer and wire brushes was more than expected. Gloves of a much higher quality than expected also! Aesthetically pleasing as well. Great kit for this old timer getting back into it. Thanks

Its a good bit of kit for your home welding setup and the equivalent to what you would find in quality from Harbor Freight. Would recommend.

This set works well. The gloves fit very well and withstand heat very well. the slag hammer is lightweight and sturdy, holds up well. the brush bristles hold up and work well, and don't fall out easily. All in all, a nice set

This seems like a pretty nice set overall, though I'm no welder so can't comment on that particular context despite the item. However this works GREAT for minor masonry repair, the hammer is perfect for removing loose aggregate or fractured segments with cement/concrete (in my case it was stairs), clear out the area with the wire brush and ta-da a perfectly prepped area for repair. The gloves seem to have a nice thickness to them and fit "decent enough" of course not going to be doing anything real delicate with your fingertips in them but they're not super stiff or stupidly oversized or anything. Definitely a fair price for a fair set, even if used for unorthodox applications.

Much like majority of the reviews my choices were short cuffed as well, the brushes work just fine, bristles are strong and set into them pretty good. Think harbor freight quality and that's what you get here for a decent price.

I keep this tool set in my welding bag with my hood, it’s a great set to have on hand. Gloves are good quality, and the hammer and brushes are well made. Definitely handy.

For most guys, all we ask for is whether it will do the job you expect it to and whether it is a fair price for what you paid. The answer is yes to both. Nothing miraculous, but the gloves are leather, as expected and the tools are what you can expect for the price. Is there room for improvement? Maybe a thicker or better glove would help. It's a bit small for my hands. And the wire brush won't last long. But for the price, it's fine.
