I want to start off by saying 1) I bought this explicitly for longer travel where I had limited space in my bag and 2) I have very thin hairAt least once a year I will take a longer backpacking vacation. During these trips I don't care so much about my appearance, but I do like having a straightener to help with the weird cowlicks and frizziness I have around the frame of my face. It makes for much better travel pictures when I am not looking a hot mess, but I also don't have enough space in my backpack for my regular straightener, nor do I get enough use out of it to make it worth bringing.Cue this small little number that comes to the rescue! It is so cute and small, works perfectly abroad, and gets hot enough to manage my curly-qs. Doing my whole head would be a pain, just because of how small it is, but I imagine it is possible for someone with thinner hair like myself. I would not recommend this for someone with very thick hair or for someone who is planning to use this on all of their hair, unless they're very patient!

I find that this hair tool works great for straightening my hair. When trying to curl with it I find it grabs and skip-skip-skips the further it gets down the hair shaft and the curls I’ve gotten have not been stellar. We’re still getting to know each other so maybe I’ll figure out how to avoid that and get better curls with a little practice.I do love that it is lightweight and it being dual-voltage is handy if I want to use it while traveling.

I bought this to style a cosplay wig since some of the reviews said it doesn't get super hot. It does get a bit hot but it didn't melt my synthetic wig which is why I bought this. This tiny little flat iron is gonna be great to style my bangs since it's small and I don't have to worry about burning myself. I would recommend this.

I was skeptical about buying this because of some reviews, however I am glad I did. I love the ease of use and the salon quality curls it gives me. It is well made and definitely a great value for the price I paid.

Great size, very light and fits in a small purse! Doesn't get all too hot though and takes several slow swipes over a small portion of hair to straighten.

Took me a few minutes to get the hang of it... Now I love it!!!

Wow! After being bombarded with IG ads for a more expensive version of this straightener/curling wand, I found this on sale during Prime Days. Love the various temperatures, the cooling fan to set the curl feature. It is sleek and heats up quickly. Does a beautiful job whether curling or straightening.

Yo tengo el cabello super cortito y quería una plancha pequeña para llevarla de viaje y pensaba que funcionaría mejor en mis mechones cortitos. La verdad es que sigo regresando a usar mi plancha grande porque lo hace mil veces mejor.✅ Que si me gustó:- El diseño y lo compacta que es.- Tiene un seguro para mantenerse cerrada.- Tiene cable giratorio en la base para que no se tuerza.❌ Que no me gustó:-Aunque calienta bastante bien, las placas que tiene no deslizan tan bien como mi plancha normal de años, hasta te llega a jalar un poco el cabello.- Por lo mismo, tienes que dar varias pasadas y nunca queda tan liso.- El seguro 🔐 que tiene para que quede cerrada, es difícil volver a abrir sólo con las manos, yo uso una pinza o algo.En resumen, es bonita, fácil de llevar pero no es eficiente en mi cabello corto. Sigo buscando una plancha pequeña que me pueda servir.

I read the reviews before purchasing. Many said it is only good for short hair. Although it is small, which is better for travel, it worked great on my medium hair. I did it in 10 minutes. It is really hot which I prefer.I would recommend.

Used this mini-travel flat iron for two weeks while touring Portugal. Heats up fast. However, it does get too hot. Used it for a week at home in Canada to try out and only problem is the too hot temperature.

It always takes me a long time to order something from Amazon, I read reviews, I look at all specifications. I am so very happy with my new Phoebe Mini travel flat iron. It is exactly what I was looking for a little bit bigger than all the other mini flat irons. I had a flat iron that worked very well for a long time, I took the time to measure it to make sure I had the same thing and not a really small flat iron. It works very well and is very similar to the one I had before. Thank you very much

Worked well to smooth my fine hair. Good compact size. Heated up quickly. I wish it came with a travel sleeve or bag.
