I have been growing my own herbs and now will chop them up for storage in the winter. This product serves me well!

This grinder would probably be a great grinder for small amounts of spices, which is what it's actually for. It is what it claims to be, a small spice grinder with a small capacity. I can't speak to how well it does on herbs and spices.I bought it to grind dehydrated chiles into chile powder. It can't grind thicker walled peppers like jalapeno, but it worked pretty well on my habaneros. It's just small amounts at a time. Next year I plan on buying a bigger grinder more suited to grinding chile.

Cute and works great good price only thing is if your grinding the powder come out of the sides but not a big deal I love it.

As far as a grinder goes, it does that well. However, it will throw powder out of the crack of the lid. It isn't just a little bit that comes out of the lid, it's probably 25% of what I was grinding. I had to grind everything on tin foil so I could salvage it.For reference, I used this to grind home grown (and then dehydrated)mushrooms so I can encapsulate my own mushrooms complex. It does grind them up well, but the way it spills powder out is annoying and not something I want to deal with.The 3 stars is only because it does grind well, otherwise it would be 0. It spilling out product may or may not be a deal breaker to you, but it was to me.

It was a purchase for my mom. It is an excellent buy! Quiet and really works well grinding the spices. The size is small, so it is easy to store and use!
