I had a picture in a black frame hanging over an electric fireplace (also black). This set up was banked by two black bookcases with open shelving, nicely stowed with novels, potted plants, pictures, and varied knick-knacks. The entire wall had a pleasant, homey look. One day I decided I no longer liked the picture hanging there. Searching through the Amazon items, I came across the black metal locus. Although I initially placed it in my "Later" storage along with a couple of other items I liked, I kept going back to it. (Seldom am I an impulse buyer.) Finally, I ordered. The moment I opened it; I loved it. Putting it on the wall in place of the picture was the missing link to a perfect wall. It finishes the look that I was initially going for.

This is a black metal lotus, light weight, color is nice, easy to hang. I hung this in my water room.
