Couldn't be more pleased
Powerful, expansive, and aesthetically pleasing. This thing checks every box while adding so much more.

Not as high quality as I expected
I had high hopes for this head unit. It checked all of the boxes that I was looking for. Upon install and after a month of use, I have come to regret my purchase. I’ll give a couple of specific examples of why.-The capacitive touch volume up and down buttons are TERRIBLE!! This is honestly my single biggest complaint of them all. They are almost unusable.- All audio from Bluetooth is about 50% volume compared to radio or internal storage. There is no means to adjust this and you are not able to control volume from you connected Bluetooth device.-CarPlay is not as quick to connect as they advertise and as some other reviewers claim. Probably 10-15 seconds after the car is started.-About once per week, the radio stops connecting to my phone for CarLink. Bluetooth is still connected, but it will no longer establish a connection for CarPlay/Android Auto until I delete the phone and re-add it.-There are no RCA line outs. There are red and white RCA INPUTS though. You must use line out converters which they provide, to convert you standard +\- speaker wires to RCA connections. There is a single channel RCA Subwoofer output.-Sim card data connection is NOT AVAILABLE IN USA.-The responsiveness of the touch screen is very low quality.I have installed and used many head units. Install on this one is straight forward. Assembly seems to be of good quality. However, I would not recommend this unit based on my experience and concerns above.

Atoto S8 Super Buggy!
2nd purchase of same model, 5th purchase of different S8 models. All had screen flicker on light background. None would auto boot into CarPlay. 2 would boot into Youtube no matter if reset or not. LED screens lack blacks which QLED did not improve. Screens way too bright on all. WiFi would consistently disconnect. Manually going into CarPlay would also disconnect WiFi on all units. Voice commands work, then not. Siri would work, then not telling me it needs internet, even though it showed I was connected to the net. I spent 10 consecutive days on 5 units with one frustration after another. S8 not ready for Prime Time. Tech support was with me 8 of 10 days but gave conflicting advice without being able to get even one of the units off the ground. Automatic apparently means Press button in Chinese.

Atoto s8
Awsome stereo. Couldn't get better except you cannot make calls or send msgs with a sim card as a standalone device.

It's good for a global market, but useless for USDM
I bought this for all the features it promises, but most of them are technically not usable, because a US SIM card is needed for internet usage on the default apps. As for Android Auto, it's technically done on a homebrew app, so it's not able to be preset as the default function, you still have to press an app to connect, but I will say once connected it does work decent. If I had known these limitations I probably would have not splurged on the QLED model, as the ability to watch youtube, or anything screen wise on the fly is not integrated for a US market per say. The only benefit is the processor at this point, to which you can save literally hundreds with a different make and model with it. Per usual, with these manufacturers, they don't have a lot of emphasis on helping with support, firmware, and Interface.

iPhone limitations and cheap Android quality.
I've only been able to get 2 channels to work. WiFi antenna is horrible and not replaceable. The only good thing about not having WiFi if you don't want to park your car in your living room is the plethora of weird uninstallable Chinese apps aren't able to pipe whatever data Xi was wanting. You can't give the apps you want to have access to your removable storage. Have fun with apps like Torque or every file manager. I've been trying to get this working, like the way you picture when you purchased it, for almost a month now. The GPS is good and the 4G LTE works so it's nice to have updated map and weather data as your driving. This is better than the ones that had 5-10 years ago but it's not great. I regret not building a head unit from a RPi 5 with LineageOS. There are other annoying things about this unit but it's not like these things are known for quality. You kind of expect to be disappointed when you buy it.

Beyond expectations
Had it installed on my son’s Honda Fit because we wanted the safety of a backup camera. What we ended up with this unit is a system that can do it all and then some. To call it feature rich isn’t doing it justice. Here is a list of its strengths:- solid high quality build- customer service that is out of this world- great sound that can be tuned to your exact liking- fantastic screen that can be seen in any lighting- zero lag due to very powerful cpu- like having a laptop on the dashboard- comes with a nice mic for crystal clear callsDo yourself a favor and watch some YouTube videos on what the reviews say about ATOTO and ask yourself does anyone else even come close at this price point. These aren’t the cheapest units you can buy, but in my opinion-if you want quality and support like this, ATOTO is best value.

decent head unit but 2 big flaws
the side touch buttons are not so friendly and can be pain to use. the overall function is great, its snappy and the external drive capability is great. the biggest fault is the audio setup. if you want to use amps the output converters are poor. only single subwoofer output rca so you would need a Y adapter. it felt like the audio settings weren't the best and needs refinement. if they concentrated on the software side of the audio and put 6 rca outputs, i could live with it. instead I would say pass.
