It’s not cowhide.
The saddlebags are nice and big. They hold their shape and keep water out during rain, but they’re not cowhide. They’re some synthetic stuff covering plastic plates, but they look nice regardless. I also like the gun holsters in both pockets. Overall, nice saddlebags for the money.

Don't buy!
For starters stiching coming apart where zippers come together. Caught in rain 1 time board that is supposed to keep shape is now warped. Very disappointed

Good bags
Awesome saddle bags ! As described. Comes with one lil plastic key to lock bags, DONT THROW IT AWAY ITS ON THE CARD IN BOX…. The bags can unzip and detach if needed on road trips to bring yer stuff in and reattach via zipper … all Velcro’s are super strong

Ok for Price, not leather as advertised.
Plastic, not leather. OK design, but don’t expect top quality. Buckles already loosing chrome out of the bag.

Good for a smaller load
My bags are getting old. Got these and the measurements matched what I wanted but due to the firm side construction(not their fault just not what I wanted) they carry less than my other bags. I gave them to a buddy. Will be looking for less structured bags in the future.
