Information Systems Security NIST 800 2-in-1: RMF Foundations & Controls

Best person I came across in my cybersecurity journey has been Bruce. Been following him for 3 years and I must say his materials are a best for both beginners and advanced professors

I have been following the author since before I obtained my CISSP and became an ISSO myself. He knows his stuff and was one of the first ones in Cyber to create this type of educational material.

This book is a very practical guide to learn how to be an Information System Security Officer (ISSO) using the risk management framework (RMF) process. The topic is relatively complicated for lay people not in high tech or security. However, if you are interested in or just want to expand your knowledge and explore this hot topic this is a good place to start. Be prepared to enter a word of acronyms - the author does provide a good glossary and usually defines before first use (title excluded). I would recommend this book.

If you are looking for an easy to read book about the security or lack thereof of the US govt and other entities then this is a great starting point. The tone of the book is conversational, so its easy to read and internalize info. Author breaks downs what cybersecurity is and how hackers find ways to breach even the "strongest" interface

This book is great for learning about Risk Management Frameworks. Bruce did a good job putting it together. Recommended!

I git this book for my son. He is working towards getting into this field. He liked this book very much. He says it is an excellent source of info and that it is full of very useful tips and tricks for beginning and even intermediate level professionals.

I will be honest I didn't know much about information systems or security and this book does a great job of providing a great foundation. In part 1 the author defines a lot of the terms and processes you will need. In part 2 you learn more about the author and his extensive background in this field. I enjoyed the real life stories and examples the author provides. He definitely made this subject interesting to learn about.

This is a great book and source of information if you want to learn about cyber security and information system. This is well-written, organized, and comprehensive. No other book is better than this one.
