Impossible to use warranty
It worked great until it broke after about 8 months. It says it has a 2-year warranty, but it's impossible to get hold of the manufacturer or seller who is in China.I have several solar systems and I own several of these kinds of charge controllers. It seems like they come from the same manufacturer but they change the names and colors of the product probably so they can never be held accountable for their products.

NOT 48 Volt Ready!
This item is NOT able to be used with 48 Volt systems out of the box and REQUIRES a cable that the seller makes you send them an EMAIL to obtain. Its functionally USELESS until then. You have to interface it with a PC to get it to charge Lithium at 48 Volts, using this cable that isn't included.Instruction manual is also basically useless. Its ability to explain function and features of this unit is ZERO!Nothing is mentioned about HOW to use the USB to 485 cable, or get any software, and support appears to be zero as well.AVOID!EDIT: 2-24-19 Revised from one Star to 4 after Real World Testing. The unit out of the box IS useless... But after getting the Wifi Unit, and the 485 Cable, as well as software (Which all took FAR longer than it should have) I was able to put this unit into service on my Nissan Leaf Cell Power Cabinet with 28 Cells Configured for 48 Volt. I have fourteen 44v 320 Watt panels, configured for 88v pairs (7 total pairs of Cells)At the Controller, I am getting 2200+ Watts in Full Sun, with nearly 42 Amps. This is the MOST I can get out of this unit, before it starts to overcome the built in fan and start resetting a LOT. Even at 42 Amps, It will Reset at times. Tripping some kind of internal Thermal Protection. This usually forces me to cut off one set of panels in the Breaker box, and run at 32 Amps. Avoid the thermal protection, but ultimately, only providing about 1800-1900 Watts @ 32-ish amps reliably. It does appear to be worth the money, but power ability is overstated by about 24 amps. At least in my 48v Configuration. So, Its useful, but better units exist. Thats my 2 cents.
