I have only used this once, but I warn you all that it is a time travelling device..I had a migraine this weekend, so I retrieved this cap from the freezer. When you have a migraine you will try anything up to and including removing your head (well at least I might try that if it didn't require excess movement and/or noise to accomplish). I moved to the sofa and started to slide this over my eyes, only to be interrupted as the hellhound demanded to be released..At this point the cap is on my head, but it already feels good. I wait impatiently for the demon dog to request readmittance and gratefully head back toward the welcoming embrace of the couch. As I lay prone, I gently slide the cap down over my eyes..Within minutes the vicious Hound of Baskerville is loudly barking, asserting his dominance to those across the street. I abruptly sit up to correct him and find that I have travelled four hours into the future. Where have those minutes disappeared to? Did the hat perhaps steal those hours to bestow upon their creator? Is this an item of magic?.If the price I must pay to remove a headache is a few hours of life, I will gladly pay the fee....but will the price be higher next time?

I love this product however if there were a way to produce it so it held the cold for longer it would be better. However it works great.

I bought this mainly to calm my sinuses after crying. It works amazingly well. I have a large head (hat size 7-3/4) and lots of hair, so I bought the larger size. It fits like a dream. This is by far the most cushiony, stretchiest cold pack I’ve ever had. I wish they made one like this that could be used for wrists and ankles. The fleece lining keeps the cold from irritating my skin, and the cold lasts at least 30 minutes. I keep mine in the freezer. Would recommend 10/10 for anyone who needs a cold pack for your forehead or face.

I get all kinds of headaches and have since I was little - migraines, cluster headaches, sinus headaches, you name it. I hate taking pills all the time so natural or alternative remedies are ALWAYS much appreciated.The headache relief cap is AMAZING! I am kicking myself that I never tried one sooner. It is made out of a soft, flexible gel. The outside is made of a silky Lycra fabric while the inside is a softer, plush fabric. Both sides of the fabric are comfortable and feel surprisingly good against my skin.You can use this cap either hot or cold. I keep mine in the freezer because the extra bit of coldness really helps tackle my headaches. If you prefer hot therapy, just pop it in the microwave for 30-45 seconds. Personally, I prefer cold therapy as it seems to zap away headaches much more effectively.For those wondering, the cap doesn't get rigid like a typical ice pack and stays plenty flexible when stored in the freezer. For some, it might be too cold so keeping it in the fridge may be a better alternative. If you are a frequent headache sufferer, I would highly recommend buying two so you can alternate.The fit is just right! I opted for the large size. I don't have a big head but I would rather the cap be a little too big than a little too tight. There is a slight compression but it definitely isn't squeezing your head tightly. It actually feels quite comfortable and after awhile, I forget that I'm even wearing it. You don't have to pull it down over your eyes but when I suffer from a full blown migraine, that is a must! Shutting out all the light helps soooo much!I am definitely going to be recommending this to my headache suffering friends and family as it has been a godsend for me!!!!!

Perfect for cooling down and relieving headaches.- The gel and dark polyester fabric covers my eyes and blocks most light, except the light that leaks in under my nose. This could be used for sleeping to help block out lighting.- I get overheated while mowing in the summer heat. A traditional gel ice pack helps me cool down A gel cap like this applies relief all around my head/forehead and lets me relax and cool down fast.- Stitching, joining the front to back, runs right over the ears. If the cap is rotated slightly, the gel completely covers my ears and does a great job cutting down lots of room noise. Unfortunately, that means the nose cutout is not centered on the nose and lets in slightly more light. I hope the next version has the stitching further back.- Because it wraps around my head and cools quickly, I learned to place this in the refrigerator, not the freezer.- There is a stretchable fabric wrapping over the gel with no way to remove the gel. It just means that the polyester cover will have to be cleaned by hand.- Cap can be heated or cooled. Instructions include how long to chill (30-60 minutes) or heat (about 30 seconds) for suggested results.- A semi-durable bag is included for storage.The above review is for IPow’s Gel head wrap.

I cannot tell you how much I love this! I have a different one that I thought I absolutely loved but this one takes the cake! The inside of the cap has a soft interior that feels wonderful during those horrible migraines. The other one that I have doesn't have that soft lining and sometimes hurts my head and eye area because it is too cold, but I don't get any of those issues with this one because of the soft inside. It stays cold for about an hour and the pressure from the cap being on your head, does wonders. I LOVE IT!

Unfortunately, I believe the migraine relief cap that I received leaks. The migraine cap was sticky and the plastic it was in had lots of condensation. I had to wash my hands to get the stickiness off. The caution information on the back of the box says to discard it immediately if broken. The plush interior does feel nice and cozy. Overall, the migraine relief cap seems like a generic model with the added plush interior that would work well if it weren't for the gel leak.
