MaxMark Self-Inking Rubber Date Office Stamp with Shipped Phrase & Date - RED Ink (Max Dater II), 12-Year Band

You kind of have to be able to read backwards to change the dates and manually turn the dates- expected but a little tedious nonetheless. That is always going to be little bit of a negative...... however my only real complaint is that the quality of the product is a little sub-par- one of the wheels won’t turn as it actually gets stuck on the month and I have to push the actual stamp to get it to move. The other wheels work but there tough on the fingers if you use it much, kinda is pokes them. I bought another one of these with a different stamp and it works better than this one. But that is disappointing for a simple thing like that to not be made well enough to turn normally.

This is a terrific little stamp. The stamp area is one inch side-to-side and one-half inch top-to-bottom. The word SCANNED is 3/16 inch high and the date is 1/8 inch high.Another reviewer mentioned getting ink on your fingers when changing the date. That happen to me, too. You just have to be a little careful when changing the date and don't stuff your finger or thumb too far into that part of the stamp.

I bought this item several months ago to use when paying bills for a small business. It worked great for the first 20 or so pages I stamped. After that it would not stay on the selected dates. The wheel used to change dates seems to be stripped and I ended up with ink all over my fingers trying to get it to stay on the correct date. I have been unable to fix the issue. It is past the return period so I will be throwing it away and ordering another brand.

I didn't read the directions first, and as a result, have red ink all over my fingers. THE INK WON'T COME OFF with soap and water, alcohol or nail polish remover, and there are no instructions for removing it. Maybe I have to take an emery board to my fingertips? In addition, it's flimsy plastic and is hard to set even if you do it properly. Don't waste your money! Spend more, get better!

I bought this in February of 2017, and it's now July of 2018. In that time, the "Received" portion of the stamp has fallen off several times. The first time it fell off and I couldn't get it to stick back on, I contacted the seller, and he sent me another "Received" rubber portion with a sticky back to stick to the stamper. Unfortunately, the "Received" portion has lost its stickiness and once again continues to fall off. I've tried gluing the "Received" portion onto the stamper, but it doesn't stay on. Other than this, it has been a decent stamper, but I will have to look for a different brand/type of stamper to replace this one.

I work in an office and we fax multiple documents a day. This just makes it easier to have the date on the stamp rather than having to write it every time. Sometimes if We get really busy we would forget to write bthe exact faxed date. Not anymore!

The chain of date numbers is not secured to the selector wheel. Sometimes the wheel slips and the date number will not move. This happened immediately out of the box. I tried to put a drop of CA glue to secure the wheel to the number chain and ruined the stamp. In hindsight it’s better to just apply a little of side pressure to the Adjuster wheel if the date numbers will not change.

The stamp works great easy to push and retracts perfect. The inck on the other hand isn't the best.. it's not vibrant and runs out in my opinion fast. I would buy this product again and the same name brand but with extra ink packs
