Great value, love the simplistic design
Very simple and functional yet it has all of the essentials without any of the gimmicky frills. Maybe it takes a $300 laptop so I don't have to deal with built in Alexa-enabled something, HP-specific ports, fingerprint scanner, and other stuff I don't want or need. They don't try anything fancy with this one which for me is a positive. Plus it's TKL keyboard which really should be the new norm. Does not have a backlit keyboard which is a slight miss but for the price it's not a huge deal. You can take it out of S-mode easily and remove a lot of the addons and you have yourself a perfectly functional Windows machine. Despite the lower-tier hardware it still starts up very quickly if you make sure you don't have too much bloatware. Sure it's a little slow at times but if you're using it for day to day tasks it should be fine. Battery life seems very good, the laptop is also fairly lightweight as well. What more could you ask for at this price point.

Works great.
Easy to use, smooth keys and touch pad, backed up from the cloud very easy and fast. Seemingly durable.

BUY IF YOU WANT TO BE CONSTANTLY ANNOYED
I got this in August of 2024. This is a terrible laptop. It sets itself on capital letters and won't release it. Sometimes the scroll feature works, sometimes it doesn't. The main problem is the Time and Date feature doesn't work. I set it every time I log on and then several times during the day, it is just useless. Sometimes I'll be typing and the shortcut keys are activated for no reason. This laptop is FULL of glitches and it is SO annoying and time consuming to keep resetting. I've tried the solutions but nothing has helped. I hate MSN and I can get it off for a day, but it always comes back as my home page. The sliding screen keeps covering my main screen for no reason (what a stupid function). Don't waste your money on this piece of crap.

Works great so far!
Didn't have high expectations due to the low price. It is only day one, but it works great! I can stream netflix, check email, and use Word. I mostly got it because I have an old chromebook that would not allow me to download Microsoft Word. And this comes with one year free Microsoft Word (that costs $100 separately, which was the only reason I was willing to try this. So bottom line, works great so far! It does have a cheap feel. But nice and lightweight.

Worth every penny
Wow, this laptop is fantastic! I'm not very tech savvy and you just turn it on, it walks you through everything you need to know and do to set it up. I even synched my desktop to it, which is super helpful when I take the laptop to do work. Office is included, for those of you who are also not tech savvy, no worries, it is right there. You don't have to figure anything out. And for the price....really incredible. I'm thrilled with this purchase.

Not perfect, but good for price
Not the best quality laptop, a little slow to turn on, but good for the price. However if you need a high-performance laptop or plan to use it all day everyday, I’d recommend spending more money for a better device. Fine for casual use.

Perfect size, weight and function. Also I love the color! So easy to use. So easy to incorporate all my files from the past several years.
