I've had nonstop fun, both building this AND playing with this! The instructions are easy to follow if you've worked on STEM like toys in the past. The remote control functions are by far the best I've interacted with; the motors are extremely responsive and powerful! There's nothing negative to say in this review. On top of all that, because they're similar to another Technic like toys, you have soooooo many extra pieces for other building of this category. The only thing I wish would be to purchase the motors, wheels, and R/C functions to use for other builds of mine as they would significantly improve their play-ability.. A+ product; great for kids and adults; please make more of these or create a kit to buy the motors, wheels, and R/C functions PLEASE!

This set has everything: Motors-parts-good instructions and style. This is a "real" review, I was not given the set in exchange for a positive review. I am older (66) and took my time with the set. It took me two weeks to build (with a bad back). I was amazed that the car could steer without a separate motor for left and right. Apparently the wheels are patented and each is controlled by it's own motor and steering is done by controlling the power to each wheel. The build was good and I read over each step twice. The instructions for wiring and hiding the wires were really good and clear. The finished product was indeed huge and pretty heavy for a lego type model. When I finished the build I gave it a spin. Spin indeed! The car had power like no other set I have ever built. I ended up accidentally crashing it into the bottom of my kitchen stove and had some minor repair work to do. I tried to find something to complain about- there was only one minor issue: The black cross pieces of the upper seats kept falling off during the build. I recommend installing the two piece sets at the end of the build as they are easy (with the motorized gull-wing doors up) to install. I am looking forward to the next MOC type set from this company. I don't think if you buy this set you will be disappointed. As a note: I ended up spilling my cup of tea all over the instructions and they survived with kudos! I dried the book out and the thick colored pages were not damaged. I could hardly have done this with a "L" set instruction book!

it was a great product to put together

This was a gift for our grandson. He is 18 and has been building LEGO sets for several years. He said that it was a lot of fun and liked it as much as the Lego Technic products. The Ownone 1 took him longer to build than the Technic cars, but he did not mind the challenge at all. He also liked the motor action of this car.

The media could not be loaded. My son (15) loved it. He spent hours all three Christmas days assembling the car and daddy was allowed to join in for some minor parts. He says it’s the resemblance of the Koenigsegg Jesko, a car he dreams of. The final product is fun with electric moving doors, fast drive (a bit fast for indoors, but repairs are quickly done and extend the fun) and great spins due to the ingenious design of the wheels. And thank you, Amazon, for quicker delivery than expected. It arrived before Christmas here in Germany. Fantastic!

This is a gift for my teenage grandson for Christmas - purchased earlier because of prime day dale. Great sale price. These are expensive, but I have purchased this brand for him before. They are always well packaged - directions great - and a great brand!

Great Build

I would say it is more like 12-14 and up. My 14 yr old is loving it! Taking some time to build, but he loves that stuff. He has it built enough in 5 days to drive around, but still has a lot more to build. Great gift!
