Works great and looks oem.

its missing the 2 main bolts it needs to stay in the dash, so it literally just falls out every time i hit a bump. the audio is honestly pretty bad, worse than stock. gotta spend an extra hundred for a new amp so the speakers arent distorted. apple carplay works fine but takes a while to connect sometimes.

Good quality radio , came with everything needed for the installation. AC control needs to be relocated. I installed the back up cámara and the microphone for the calls and everything work right away . Worked right out of the box and the original control on the steering wheel works .

The sound is incredible! There does seem to be a conflict with using the phone and being connected to Android Auto, it says you must disconnect Android Auto, to get around it i just use Android Auto to make calls. The USB music stick has an issue, maybe too much media on a 32gig stick at times it sounds like scratching. I like that it tells me if a door or trunk is open. I recommend getting the backup camera, all you nrrf is to install and connect, they system knows when car is in reverse somehow. Steering wheel buttons work but the USB music issue is dissatisfaction, I will try with a smaller stick. I also can't figure how to add my own picture on startup as it's says you can. The pics show on screen but can't see how to set it and lastly, the clock doesn't keep proper time, it's always off bt 20 minutes.

I would have gave it five but the product gave me the impression the camera (back up) was included. It’s not much more for the camera but if I would have known it could have saved me a week and a half of waiting for a replacement unit!!! Also I can’t find the dash cam advertised for this unit at all!

Diy for sure. Easy as plug and play. Easy to connect via Bluetooth and like the oem look as well. No buyers remorse.

If you’re looking for a oe styled head unit I’d say it’s a good bargain. Has a couple minor problems like its start up (just goes through a couple of logins) but isn’t really a problem. Unless you’re picky like that. Don’t forget to turn the volume down otherwise you’ll probably jump out your skin if you was partying on the way home. But I’d recommend it as it fits my e46 perfectly

I actually went through 3 units before i got one that is working well for me. First 2 stopped connecting to android auto, but this 3rd one seems to have no issues. I turned off my phonesac address randomization, so that might have done something, as it connects to the radio via wifi and bluetooth for the auto connection.Last 2 units i got are the 7011m, and even then, they have physical differences.The one i have now has nicer knobs and more firm buttons than the 1st. So if your unit has mushy buttons, exchange and try for a newer one.My only gripe is that the auto headlight detection only checks when the unit first starts, so you jeed to turn on headlights before starting your car.All the canbus functions work. I just needed to run a new cable to the front, as i had harmon kardon and a satnav unit.
