Works great!
I installed this about a month ago and it works great! During installation I had to remove my front sprocket to get the bolts tightened correctly even though the instructions showed it could be installed with the front sprocket left on which wasn't the case for me. Otherwise, its working well and protecting my sprocket from impacts which is the intended purpose. I recommend this product.

Great fit and finish
What: 2016 Stumpjumper.Installation: bashguard comes with 2 screws. No need to remove cranks, depending on bike. Rotate cranks until chainring exposes holes. Align bashguard and screw in place. Less than 5 minutes to install.Specs: purchased blue color to match bike color. Installed to protect 34T Sram chainring. The bashguard is sized for 26-36T chainrings. On the 34T the bashguard sticks out about 3/16 of an inch.Recommendation: Do it. Reasonably priced. It's subtle in appearance but offers great protection to your drivetrain. Weight is negligible unless you are a weight weenie. I expect the finish on the bashguard to take a beating on the trail, but that's expected.

Might work great
If your chain ring doesn’t get in the way you’re fine otherwise you may have to remove it to install this or get shorter screws as I did. Definitely not a reflection of the quality of the product which seems quite good.

Looks good, haven't tested it yet.
Installation was easy and it looks great, especially with my color scheme. With all the rocks and chunk we have in New Mexico and my upcoming Moab trip, I hope this will protect my newly installed chain and chain ring.Update: This thing is awesome! For the type of riding I enjoy which is more aggressive downhill and technical chunky/rocky uphill mountain biking it's great. It has taken a beating going down the whole Enchilada trail in Moab and all the rough trails we have here in Albuquerque. Going over rock or trying to get over log and tree features. This bash guard has taken quite a few hard hits and saved my chain and chainring from taking them. Have told my friends about it and some of them are looking into getting this.

nice looking bash guard...protects my 30t oval chainring from damage rolling over stumps and rocks
a nice piece of protection for my chainring on my mountain bike. Less to worry about on gnarly trails with big rocks. I've damaged a few teeth on my chainrings before so this will extend the life of them.

Way less expensive than big brands
This is high quality and low cost. It feels well made and looks good.Other brands sell a plastic version for $50-$80. Why would I spend so much on a sacrificial part?Save some money and buy the Cogster!
