unbelievably superb!
I have this PSU for around 3-4 months now. I can say it is the beast. The quality and the cable selection is good. The best part is, even in the tiny ITX case with, Ryzen 7700X, 96 GB ddr5, 3 x NVME Drives, 5 Sata SSD's and 1 Sata 2.5" 7K2 disk + Nvidia RTX 2080Ti, PSU fan is not even turning fir the all idle and most of the workloads. To be honest, I am not a gamer, but the system pulls around 110W idle and 370-400W during the high workload and 150-170w(Fan is not even making single spin AMAZING!) during standard working times. The efficiency is also good. Definitely suggesting.

A Compact & future proof little powerhouse.
What can I say I love this little PSU, so much so I've brought an additional few more. But less about my purchasing habits & onwards to my review. This small-form-factor power supply packs a surprising punch. With its 1000W output and fully modular cables, it's perfect for high-performance builds in compact cases. The SF1000L's quiet operation and 80 PLUS Gold efficiency make it a great choice for anyone who values both performance and energy efficiency. Its zero RPM mode ensures near-silent operation under low loads. If you're looking for a reliable and powerful power supply for your compact PC, the Corsair SF1000L is definitely worth considering.

Not the best option for ATX boards.
This PSU is marketed as compatible with mTX and ATX setups, and it includes a bracket for additional case flexibility. Unfortunately, the supplied cables are too short to reach the motherboard and GPU power sockets without the need for separate extension cables. Despite this inconvenience, the unit's performance is satisfactory, and it operates very quietly.

Quiet and long enough cables for ATX case
I bought some cable extensions for this because I heard the ones with the PSU are "Unbendable and too short." But they would've been fine in my ATX case. Quiet fan and feels quality.

Never thought I could be disappointed with a PSU
I've been a buyer of Corsair PSUs for the best part of 20 years now, but I can't help but feel disappointed with this one. On paper, it seemed a good upgrade over my SF600 which has been solid, but a new GPU prompted an upgrade in wattage. I haven't posted a review in years on here but I feel the need to with this as there isn't much out there about it and I think a 3 star is very fair. For those not aware, Corsair has innovatively redesigned the cables for this PSU, these have a smaller plug at the PSU end and are known as type 5. I like it overall, less confusion about which side goes where, but something to be aware of if you like custom cables, the availability of them is sparse at the moment.Which leads onto the first negative star, the cables are stiff, and they're too short. I had particular trouble with the CPU cable, even in my 14L ITX case, I had to wire it "as the crow flies" with absolutely no cable management to have a chance of it reaching, even then it's really tight and possibly straining the port. Never had an issue like this with any other PSU? Just a strange design decision that leaves absolutely no room to cable manage. It felt like such a downgrade going from the SF600 to this, the cables were individually braided and all sufficient length, with plenty of play for cable managing exactly as you needed. When all is said and done though, once it's in it's in and I wouldn't lose any sleep over some stiff cables. What I'm really disappointed at is the noise! I don't think I've ever had a PSU that I could hear above all other components and fans. I'm running an RX7900 and a 12 core R9 3900X, during gaming the PSU fan noise is really noticeable. Please do your research and find some benchmarks, this is one of the loudest SFX PSUs on the market right now. I still to this day don't know what my SF600 sounded like after 3 years, even when I ran it to its wattage limits it was never audible. To put the nail in the coffin, I bought this on a "lightning" Prime day deal at £130, less than 10 days later it set a new lowest price of £116, Amazon refuse to do the right thing and refund the difference and insist on me ripping it out of my build and sending it back instead... bonkers. I will likely go down this route, but intend to buy the SF750 instead which is superior in (almost) every way.Tl;dr: buy the SF750 unless you absolutely need 850W, it is smaller, quieter and has much higher quality cables (only reason I didn't was because of stock issues).

Faulty from the start unfortunatly.
I recived this product faulty, found out at the pc repair shop that was unresponsive at all. Got my refund, but sadly i got to post pone my pc built. The fit in the case was fine, but i agree with the other 2 guys that said the cables ware to short and stiff, at least for my mini itx built.
